No Gronkowski helps, but man, the Pats got beat pretty well.

That's the first time the Pats have not converted a 3rd down conversion in a game since 1991. And yeah...those early 90s Pats teams were the WORST.
Vegas has the Pats as a 2.5 point favorite next week. I am jumping all over that action.

I’d rather the pats had won that game. They are going to be pissed. That's the first time the Pats have not converted a 3rd down conversion in a game since 1991. And yeah...those early 90s Pats teams were the WORST.

Yeah, the Steelers GDTs are a rough read...you'd think the team is 3-11...they're one of the best teams in the league - both standings-wise and by the eye-test...the expectation is perfection it seems, probably because the game is so slow and there are too many slow motion replays, that it makes it easier for flunkies to do, uh, flunk...I suppose...
Not saying the Steelers will win or anything of the sort...but the threads here are very comparable to the Colts board right now with regard to the head coach...the difference being, yours is successful...for all of his faults, at least he's shown the ability to succeed...I'm not a big fan of Tomlin at all, but the team is still diesel...

That was the most un-Pats the Pats have looked in the Belicheat era. Brady was sub-par, and his deep throws all looked like the just petered out about 35 yards downfield. I do not relish the idea of the Steelers facing a PO'd Patriots team, but they're on the road again in a short week. A guy can hope.

Speaking of Petered. Why was Peterman not playing for the Bills in the snow game? Is that guy blowing his chance at relevance from every angle?

So Tom Savage > Nathan Peterman, then?

Peterman went 5 of 10 for 52 yards and a TD in a raging snow storm before getting concussed. I’d say that’s a significant improvement.

people who watch/follow college, how do you feel about the top college QB prospects?
there seems to be a lot of hype around them but LA QBs are always overhyped. And Baker Mayfield strikes me as Manziel 2.0. And Lamar Jackson strikes me as Robert Griffin 4.0.

Darnold will be decent. Lamar Jackson shouldn’t go in the first round, he will be awful in the nfl as a QB. Baker Mayfield isn’t Johnny, he has way more accuracy than Manziel ever had. Rosen is probably the best of all of them, Hill and Allen will be great fits for teams that draft them.people who watch/follow college, how do you feel about the top college QB prospects?

I haven't gone over all the film (I'll do that in the summer) but Darnold strikes me as the best prospect since Luck (who I thought was the best prospect since P.Manning at the time). Rosen looks very good, but has this Leaf/Rivers type feel to him, needs to get his head on straighter. Lamar Jackson is a brutal passer at the collegiate level and I can't imagine him having much of a pro career at all at QB barring massive changes to his game.
I would like to look closer at all of them before cementing these stakes into the ground...but my casual impressions are like that. I'm not familiar with the big kid from Wyoming (?)...

Should Devin Hester go into the HOF?
In the couple of minutes it took me to read this article and make this post, the answer is yes imo. Will he? Probably not.
