it’s Philly which is less than ideal but at least the Eagles are a fun team. Both AFC teams are fun too so I can’t imagine it not being a good game

They won't beat either Cinci or KC. Their offense is not very good. Defense is great though.

14 of the eagles point shouldn't be on the board. The first drive that had a no catch on 4th and then Josh Johnson gifting them points before the half with a fumble.

In any event it is what it is.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for the 49ers on the bad catch call om the first drive. They had ample time to challenge and throwing a challenge flag there is low risk anyway.

I have sympathy for them losing Purdy though and sympathy for me for having to watch the game without him. Not sure why they didn't try something different like wildcat with cmc

Mostly I'm annoyed the announcers weren't taking about it. And the replay producer. We were all trying to see if he lost control on that catch not if he was in bounds

The replay that showed it was clearly incomplete didn't get shown by Fox until after the next commercial break. No clue what teams have access to, but assuming they didn't see that angle...then I dunno.

Agree challenge is low risk there anyways plus Smith was acting like he didn't catch it by running back to have them snap the ball. On that alone Shanny should have challenged.
