yeah. Maybe the Niners play a little smarter if Purdy is healthy but they probably lose this game anyway if this was how it was going to go regardless. Their defense has been getting stops and then giving the Eagles free first downs with penalties

14 of the eagles point shouldn't be on the board. The first drive that had a no catch on 4th and then Josh Johnson gifting them points before the half with a fumble.

They have no other QB. Johnson was in...he sucked then got concussed. McCaffery is the emergency QB.

They literally have no option. They have to run no matter what.

Shanahan drops numerous points for blowing that challenge situation. Devonta telegraphed the fact that he didn’t catch it. Should have been an automatic toss. But hey, Shanny was the one calling plays in the 28-3 debacle so this shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Also, had to know this officiating was gonna be dicey when the ref called a personal foul in the first quarter but made the unsportsmanlike signal.

Much like last year as I've gotten older these losses bother me less. It's just a game.

I'm only more upset this year cause I think even with Purdy the 49ers had a legit shot. Last year they squeaked in and got in a roll. This year they were on a roll the whole second half of the season.

Either way it's disappointing but it was a fun ride and I don't let these things bother me anymore. Much bigger things in life than sports.
