When former offensive lineman Jonathan Martin was found by police after posting a photo on Instagram that featured a shotgun on a bed, Martin had a loaded 12-gauge shotgun, a large knife and an ax in his car, TMZ reports.

According to court documents TMZ obtained, officials found Martin when responding to a call about a "suicidal man with a gun" at a Glendale, Calif., hospital. According to TMZ, Martin also had a cell phone with him and another shotgun was found at his parents' residence. Martin was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold at a California hospital at that time, TMZ reports.

On Feb. 23, Martin was taken into custody by police after the Instagram post featuring a gun caused his former high school, Harvard-Westlake in California, to close for the day. In the post, Martin tagged the school, the Miami Dolphins, two former teammates on the Dolphins (Richie Incognito and Mike Pouncey) and two men who attended Harvard-Westlake at the same time as him (James Dunleavy and T.J. Taylor).

TMZ adds that officials talked with Martin's girlfriend, who said he had been making suicidal statements over the past month and "writing on the walls" at his residence.

I thought back when all the Incognito stuff went down that it seemed like Martin had a ton of issues of his own, and he wasn't exactly an innocent victim in that regard. Dude needs help.

And dumped Kizer on the Packers. They’re not terrible trades. Landry is good and the receiver corps is solid if Gordon stays clean. Taylor isn’t great but he’s a capable stopgap for them the actually develop whoever the take in the first round. Their defense was pretty good last year. They’re gonna draft Barkley. This could actually be when the tide turns for them.

I can't believe I'm saying this but despite 0-16 the Browns weren't completely hapless last year. Draft a QB, Tyrod can hold the fort for a year or two. You've got a damn good O Line and Corey Coleman as your WR3 aint terrible.

Oh also, save that other kid too...Kessler or whatever...he's not flashy, but he's smart and accurate...put him in KC or Minnesota or some place where he only needs 20, 21, 23 points to win and he can do it...but he's not a hero mode guy...

Hope Kizer's career his salvaged...he's a project, but has a lot of upside...

OK - Josh Gordon, Jarvis “Juice” Landry and Saquon Barkley is slightly terrifying. Then there’s Coleman and Njoku. They could clown our Jabroni defense.

But they need a QB with a pulse. Not sure Tyrod Taylor offers much more than a bunch of the other QBs they’ve had in the recent past did.

I kind of agree. This was not the same as the Lions a few years ago. The Browns were in a lot of their games, and showed up to play all 16 games.
