Postgame quote from AD:
When you just play football, really play football, good things are going to happen.

Good call and hail to pitt

Lololol suck it Eagles fans. Blew a 17-0 lead at home
I'm sure the fans' postgame meltdown is one for the ages.
A lot of honest "GIVE FOLES SOME SNAPS" comments.

From a neutral perspective, it is very obvious that Pederson benefited greatly from Reich last year. His playcalling has been atrocious in a lot of these games, almost Reid like.
Not sure what giving Foles snaps would do to help the defense avoid collapses like today’s.

I agree with you re: Reich’s influence.

Right. So the ball is out of bounds. In the same way that a forward pass would be out of bounds if touched by an OOB player or a fumble is touched by an OOB player.

If you want to change that for this extremely rare situation, go for it...it's currently consistent for all non-forward pass situations to the best of my knowledge...

Watching Bungles/Chefs and while I was aware of the Kickoff Out of Bounds rule, I just saw the dumbest part of that rule. Chiefs kicker kicked it off it was short and started rolling towards the sideline but stopped short of going out of bounds. The Bengals returner ran out of bounds and then touched the ball. This made the kickoff out of bounds and the Bengals got the ball at the 40?

The ball never went out of bounds...such a bad technicality.
It's a dopey rule, but I think it happens a couple times a year (between college and pro). I'm not sure what the rationale is - maybe someone could explain it -but hoo-ha.

A ball that is touched by someone who is out of bounds is considered out of bounds. Same rule applies to basketball. If a player has a foot out of bounds when he's got a hand on the ball trying to recover a fumble, the ball is dead right there and it goes back to whoever last had possession. It's a little weird with the technicality on the kickoff but it's a smart move by a kick returner if they know the rule and then they can get that field position.

Hue Jackson threatening to take play calling away from Todd Haley. Nice to see the Browns go back to being the Browns.

Hue is gone soon and he knows it. This is just the last gasps of a dying man. They'll become even Brownier when they give head coaching duties to Haley or Gregg Williams.

The Browns were competitive in almost every game they played last year, and there has only been one game this year they didn't have a real chance of winning. They've played in four OT games - two against division rivals - and were defeated yesterday by a guy who booted home an improbably long kick after chooping two gimmes earlier in the game. Ultimately, the Browns are the Browns.

Hue's record as the O play caller is like 45 or so wins in eight years. That doesn't really inspire.

45 wins in 8 years gets you a lifetime contract in Cleveland

Bills QBs have three passing TDs all year. Pat Mahomes has thrown for 3 TDs in six games.

He did play quite well...but he was playing the ghost of Derek Anderson's ghost...an offense that scored 3 points on the Colts, in an entire game...in the NFL!

3 points is not a lot imo. Even Rutgers managed to score 15 points this weekend.

Rutgers actually had Northwestern on the ropes this weekend...up 15-10 pretty late in the game. Then failed to get a single first down in the last 25 minutes of the game...they finally yielded a TD...but that was an upset special that we let get away...the team looked completely different though, it was nice, it looked like they belonged in the NCAA...

Plus, good teams win, sure...but great teams cover...
