McKinnon tore his ACL... that really sucks for both him and the Niners. Seemed like he was going to finally get a chance to be the guy.

Aaron Donald’s reign as the league’s highest paid defensive player lasted all of a day. 6 years, $141MM, $90MM guaranteed for Mack.

:( :( ...oh well I'll take 9-7 this year. This was still a rebuilding year. Excited to have a legit QB.

Local media is still pretty bullish on the Niners this year. They aren't arguing it's a hit, but they don't seem to think it will be a catastrophe. I'm still hoping we can get to a game this year, as it would be neat to say I saw Garoppolo play in his first full season as a starter. He's going to be a tank for ten years.

Jon Gruden is bringing the Over The Hill Gang back together.

Gruden has assembled the oldest 53-man roster in the NFL in years.

Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com, who has been calculating the average age of every opening-day NFL roster in 2012, reports that the Raiders’ average age of 27.4 years is the oldest roster as far back as his records go.

Did it though.. Have Donald or Mack ever been suspended? Do defensive players fall off a cliff like RBs? I still think he's silly for turning down what was offered
