Wow, Witten goes straight to MNF. Good for him.

I think that's possibly what goosed him into the decision. These top broadcasting jobs don't open up every year, and so when ESPN came calling it might have tipped the scales a bit.Wow, Witten goes straight to MNF. Good for him.

Dez Bryant says he has "no regrets" turning down the Ravens offer, the only offer he has received since being cut by the Cowboys. I'm certainly thankful for it.

So I had this pop into my head yesterday and then mikey mentioned it in the Laurel thread...
Who the hell said "y'all quarterback bout to suck"? I tried googling and I can't find it to save my life. I don't even remember if I have the original quote right but I remember the gist of it.

The Cleveland Browns will be the subject of HBO’s Hard Knocks series this summer.

Will this be the first season following a team who picked #1 overall? The rookie hazing stuff is always a high point.

This statement is 100 times better if you read it in Ferris Bueller's voice.I haven't watch the Amazon Prime Video series about football (I don't even know what it's called), but I've heard audio clips and Dez comes off as higher maintenance than a mid-20th century Italian convertible.

The NFL is considering a rule change for next year. The home team decides if the two squads will go on field for the anthem, and if they do and someone takes a knee their team will be hit with an in-game penalty (presumably a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct). Which means every game, each team will have one guy take a knee, which means we're going to have every game start with the referee announcing offsetting UC fouls.

The kickoff changes are weird too... why not just get it over with and eliminate kickoffs from the game.
