I can't really express how boring this game is. So slow.
US open final is great
Yes the day has come where I am watching tennis over football. And I'm not ashamed

That DPI call, on a hugely pivotal play in the game, is so so bad. How in the world do you throw a flag there
Ref was bored, needed more TDs and neither of these teams are willing.

That's what you get for being gutless, Giants.

o/u was 52. That TD gave it 53. Beautiful.

Gutless would be running the ball on 3rd down. And they'd have won if they were gutless. They were stupid instead.

Yeah, not losing is a big part of winning...

Either way, I'm a 20 year watcher of Sunday NFL Countdown. I saw Screamin A Smith on it yesterday, that would be enough to drive me away...he is just one of the worst people on the entire planet and I hope someone drops an atomic bomb on him...

The NFL Network highlights show is unwatchable. It consists of Michael Irvin, Deion Sanders, and to a lesser extent Marshall Faulk, making loud unintelligible noises while Chris Rose does a bad impression of Dan Patrick.

I cannot believe you still watch Countdown. I bailed about a decade ago. If I catch any pregame show it's bits and pieces of cbs. Countdown is unwatchable.

Matt Ryan throws another backbreaking interception. Of course he did.

as much as I hate to give ESPN any type of praise, I really like this idea of the scoreboard fading out during the play and coming back once the play is completed.

Yes, I agree. Of all the things to not make any progress over the years on that network, it's their ability to disseminate highlights in any fashion, TV or internet...pretty surprising...

The genius Chip Kelly putting up a dud on national TV is a really nice way to spend a Monday evening. o/u was 56.5 in this game, took the under based on the high regard I hold that gimmick offense. Falcons are surprisingly spry, though.

I've sampled them all over the years, naturally, and do come back and check in now and again to see if I'm missing anything...CBS has always been my least favorite, but it's rising I think...Countdown let's Chris Berman say more football related things which draw a lot of awkward silence...

"Ya know, guys, I just think that Buffalo might get it done, they have a good guard in [former player] and he could be the difference on a windy day in Orchard Park..." then Tom Jackson goes "mmm" and nods and then they have to scramble to cut to Chris Mortenson for some news about a questionable player...

If Berman continues to talk and Screamin' A Smith continues to be a regular, I will shop around and CBS will be my first stop...James Brown used to host NHL on Fox Saturdays, would have no problem with him on my television again...

Cbs generally is relatively gimmick free compared to the others IMO; the channel is changed immediately if Shannon sharpe is a featured interview or gets his mush mouth going for an extended period.

That's one thing that has always scared me about that show...even though I know it's not possible, I always feel like Shannon Sharpe is going to somehow rob me in my own living room...I can't have that on a Sunday morning...

I am enjoying this greatly. Only one half, but Demarco Murray with -4 rushing yards? Eagles defense looking like swiss cheese? Deliciousssss

"Gimmick"

Their offense has been elite class both years he's been there. His personnel decisions may undo him but this isn't the wildcat offense. He, and others running lite versions of what he does have shown it to be successful on a more sustained basis than "gimmick."

I hate being in class and missing out, but am I really missing out on that much?

Living in Dallas has easily caused me to LOATHE the cowboys, but last night was pretty good entertainment as well
