I'm with Ulf in regards to Jackson.
:thumb:
Let me clarify: Jackson is supremely talented. For him to be successful, his brain has to catch up with his athletic prowess and the Ravens need to continue to have a good supporting cast that supports his talent. I think this will probably happen, unfortunately, for Steelers fans (and AFC North fans)

But I do know what I saw in college was a lot of inflated numbers on good to mediocre Louisville teams.

Source of the post I don't think that's asking too much.
These are football players...
Yup. A lot of divas, jocks, etc.

The Washington Team of American Football is now under .500 all time for the first time since 1975. Someone give me Snyder's address, I'm gonna go take a dump on his lawn.

The Eagles tied Cincinnati and the Giants lost their one player. If Dak gets injured the WTAF could win the division at, like, 6 wins.

Buddy of mine bet the under in the Eagles/Cincy game last week. Went into OT with the under sitting less than a field goal. He won his bet.

I love rooting for mediocrity and failure but that's an all-timer.

hitting an under on a tie in that situation would be the all time rush

This is what I'm getting at. I'm not talking about his talent or abilities or anything like that, I'm talking about intangibles. The top tier of the Wooden Pyramid - deliver your best when your best is what's needed, and be comfortable being uncomfortable. Jackson isn't that imo.

As a Steelers fan, I'm waaaaaaaaaay more bummed about Cincy getting Joe Burrow for the next 15 years.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for you A dot Tif ;)

In all seriousness, my point is Joe Burrow might be the best player to come out of the draft, but he’s playing for the Bungles. Don’t sweat it, man.

You have redeemed yourself with the A dot Tif thing. The way to a Tif's heart is quite clearly through the Richard Rodgers Theater, so fair play.

Yeah, Burrow alone isn't going to right that ship. The Bungles will always be the Bungles, just like the Brownies will always be the Brownies. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

My son said it looked like the Broncos defense's entire controller disconnected on that play.

lol at that controller disconnect thing.

I would absolutely love it if the Jets tank for Trevor Lawrence, and the Steelers were to somehow find themselves with the 'problem' of having Sam Darnold as their QB. That game last night didn't feel like the s**t show it ended up as until like the final 5 minutes. The way the Jets' personnel unraveled with all the penalties and whatnot...... that is one poorly coached team. No discipline.

Speaking of Trevor Lawrence:
Trevor Lawrence is on social media, and yes, he sees the tweets every Sunday. They’re fired off by Atlanta Falcons fans, Carolina Panthers fans, those who root for either of the New York football teams. Really, anyone whose professional team of choice may be struggling — they all have thoughts. The NFL season is entering only Week 4, but #TankforTrevor mode is already in full swing.

And Clemson’s star junior quarterback, the projected No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, is having fun with it.

“I try to ignore it as much as possible,” Lawrence said Tuesday. “Obviously, if you’re on social media at all, you can’t help but see some of it, but it’s just funny. It’s a new team every week. I don’t think there’s any real insight of what’s going to happen. … But it’s kind of interesting seeing all the stuff that kind of comes to me.”

49ers' Raheem Mostert calls on NFL to shut MetLife Stadium down after more injuries

Definitely seems like something is going on there. How many season ending ACL injuries have happened there now?

Did they returf the field this season or something? I don't remember people complaining about it before.

I think it might be a new field. But I think it's also Fieldturf, which is used in at least five other NFL stadiums and probably over a hundred college stadiums. It's been on the Patriots' field since 2006, and bad turf doesn't seem to be holding them back.
