What's weird is seeing Steve Levy with silver hair...but it's coming for all of us.

There's a lot wrong with that...if you can't even keep your own hair, how could I trust you with anything else...?

Does The Good Place ever get good...? The first episode made me think it had potential...then I got through a season and some change and it just got worse and worse and then changed the rules and I quit...

If you didn't like the twist, you probably won't like the rest of it. I was enjoying the series but worried that the premise would run its course so I was excited by the rule change. And they do that same sort of rule change throughout the series. We really liked it.

Speaking of broadcasts, I didn't watch the entire game, but the little bit I did see of Levy, Griese, and Riddick was pretty good. I've always liked Steve Levy back to the espn2 NHL days, but didn't know much about the others.
We watched the whole thing because my oldest son is a big Saints fan (from when we lived in Mississippi) and I likewise enjoyed it. Griese is good and Levy makes the game enjoyable without being over the top and silly.

Fair enough, and I did consider the need for the twist...but I wasn't ready for it to be so wholly...

The humor just never improved enough for me...and they're content with that through a season and change...

I don't watch a lot of shows, but I've been trying to explore some stuff...I'm gonna work on a "new" show in Ozark and then an old show in MASH, which I've never watched all the way through...

I thought the humor and heart was typical Michael Schur stuff. Parks & Rec is one of my favorite shows of all time, so Good Place hit all the marks for me. Not as good as P&R or B99, but solid.

I supposed we should now return to conversations about football.

It makes me sad watching the Saints so far. They're the only team other than the Steelers I've seen 2 complete games this season, and Brees just........ isn't. The hallmark of his career was sort of cheat code level accuracy, and he's missing gimmes left right and center.

Watched yesterday's Pat McAfee Show, and he talked about the Tyrod Taylor thing. He spoke to several friends from the League, some still active, who have gotten the exact same shot and they all said that the Dr performing the injection warned them that the lung injury is a known risk of the procedure. Very small risk, like 0.01%, but it's still something that they disclose ahead of time.

That makes sense to me, now that I understand exactly what the injection is. But what didn't occur to me is that the person that usually administers the injection is the team Dr..... who may have board certifications out the whazooo and be the 'best' MD for a 50-mile radius, but the only time they handle sharps during the year is on game day, when they administer maybe 8-10 shots to players in the locker room. So it's not a phlebotomist or nurse who does that sort of thing day in and day out.

If you want to get technical :straightens tie: they should have a anesthesiologist administer this, not some phlebotomist.

But I agree with you

Yeah, I respect phlebotomists when I'm getting my yearly screening at Quest, but I don't want a phlebotomist anywhere near my heart and lungs

For those of you who stream the games, is there a particular streamer you use consistently? Last week I had to go through half a dozen streams before finding one that would actually cast to my Sony TV via Chromecast. Also, what site do you use? Bilasport?

Correct, though it did take a while for their stream to become clear for me. I used to use a different streamer but that site seems to have gone under.

bilas is good. I have had a lot of success with a site independent of sportsurge...720pstream.me has been my football home. Some of my friends use nflbite (?) I think...

Football is a passing fancy for me at this point, so I don't go crazy with it...I stream from my tablet to my TV, I can't speak to what you're doing specifically...

Well ****, I actually am using nflbite.com; I was looking at the streamer on the site itself. I'm basically opening these sites on my iPhone and casting it to my TV using TV Cast Pro. Purely for Steelers games.

I'll add the others sites to my list so that I have options - thanks!
