Re Shafmap
I reckon that's exactly what the author of that piece did before posting it.
Los Angeles is over 40 miles across, and at least 2/3 of its residents (at least the ones with the disposable income and desire to drive to Vegas for a football game) live on the far side of that mid-point relative to Vegas. It will take some people over an hour to just no longer be in Los Angeles. I think it took us close to 90 minutes to get to the Chargers-Steelers game last month.
The current estimate on GMaps to get from my address in West Hills to Allegiant Stadium in Vegas is 5hr 33min. If you're doing that drive on a Friday to make a weekend out of it, tack on 90 minutes to that estimate. If you're going there and back again the same day, that'll probably be closer to an hour to add on. So that's 13-14 hours of driving in one day, with 4-5 hours at a football stadium in the middle.... oh, and you won't be able to drink because you're driving back to LA afterwards.
Now...... if you want to get real let's talk about how busy LAX, Burbank and Long Beach airports will be on game days. One-way airfare can be under $80, and the stadium is literally across the street from McCarran Airport. To me, that is far more realistic than a glut of people tailgating their way across the Mojave.

Man... I'll say. You guys have to be the odds on favorite out of the NFC. If you can maintain the #1 seed I don't see anyone beating you in SFBout as good of a fist half as I can ask. More of the same in the 2nd please.

The 49ers have a brutal schedule rest of the way. #1 seed is far from guaranteed. Hell the division isn't a sure thing at all.

Am I nuts for thinking Aaron Rogers is really overrated? What does he do (or win) that anyone else hasn't done?
