Monday Night Football is dead. SNF has superseded it. What in the holy hell are these horrific halftime shows?

In other Vegas news, Dallas opened up as a 16 point favorite next week against Miami and has already been bet up to a 21 point favorite

Elite Eli benched...if he's done, he finishes with a career 116-116 record...mediocrity personified.
What a litmus test this will be for the disproportionate value of half of a game of football if Eli Manning ever gets even a sniff of HOF talk.

Looks like Cam down too. What a week for QBs

Carolina GM Marty Hurney told reporters that Cam Newton informed the team of the aggravated foot injury after last Thursday night's loss to the Buccaneers. The team does not have a solid timeline for when Newton will be able to play, saying the Panthers "will see how it goes."
NFL
When he scrambled at some point in the first half and then threw the ball away, he was limping bad on the foot. If he isn't mobile, he's crud. I actually like their chances with a QB that can throw the ball accurately, if they have that.

Am I being paranoid/tin foilish when I think that if the assault accusations had come to light when he was on the Steelers last season, he would've already been suspended instantly?
NFL
Well, Ben's first allegation/civil suit was filed in July of 2009. His second came to light in March of 2010 with the police determining they wouldn't press charges on April 12, 2010. He was suspended by the league on April 21, 2010.
Long story short, yes, you're being paranoid. The league let it go for a full year and only acted once another allegation had been announced.
