Rams just crapped away any chance they had with a fumble on a punt return.

No idea what that guy was doing. Unforced fumble.

Missed FG gives them a chance here.

Jesus the Rams have failed to get out of bounds about 5 times in the last 5 min of this game

- Goff throwing 54 times and Gurley running 12 times seems like a bad decision.
- Seems like teams are now trying to triple team Donald and no one else on the Rams defense can get to the QB.
- Avonte Maddox is good.

In other news, the Bengals are the first team eliminated from playoff contention in the AFC North. The Bengals are 1-4 since hiring Hue Jackson, who now has less wins as Browns head coach than interim coach Gregg Williams. The Bengals firing Marvin Lewis and hiring Hue Jackson as head coach seems inevitable at this point.

The Bengals beat the Raiders yesterday.

You know, the Raiders that beat the Steelers last week.

It does also seem inevitable that the Steelers will lose to the Bengals.

I would not feel good at all if I were a Rams fan right now.

Rams quarterback Jared Goff has rapidly descended from an MVP candidate to the bottom of the NFL.

Over the last three weeks, Goff is at the very bottom: He’s dead last among all starting quarterbacks in passer rating over the last three weeks of the season. Goff’s passer rating over the last three weeks is 51.3. The only quarterback in the NFL who has started even one game and had a worse passer rating in that time is Mark Sanchez, who has been benched.

From Week One through the Rams’ spectacular Monday night win over the Chiefs, Goff threw 26 touchdown passes and six interceptions. In the three games since that win over the Chiefs, Goff has thrown one touchdown pass and seven interceptions.

Those three games were a win over the Lions that was closer than it should have been, a loss to the Bears last week and a loss to the Eagles last night.

The Rams’ two-game losing streak has put them at serious risk of losing out on a bye week in the NFC playoffs. They may find themselves having to host a game in the wild card round, and then, if they win that have to win both at Chicago and at New Orleans to get to the Super Bowl. Considering that the Rams have already lost at Chicago and at New Orleans, that’s a tough path.

I mean, has any team in the league this year truly looked unbeatable? I probably like the Chargers and Saints the most right now, but we'll see how that holds. Things seem more open than they have in quite some time.

Someone on Reddit posted a breakdown of Cleveland's road to the playoffs:
1. Cleveland wins last two games
2. Ravens lose to the Chargers then Cleveland
3. Dolphins lose either week 16 or 17
4. Titans lose week 16
5. Colts lose week 16, and finally...
6. The Titans and Colts must tie each other on week 17, comically eliminating themselves in the most embarrassing fashion as Cleveland gets the wild card on tiebreakers

Only the Washington Redskins could make being a half game out of a playoff spot in Week 16 seem like an utterly hopeless and joyless pursuit. Congrats Snyder.

Local Philly station just posted, "Nick Foles to get the start against Houston Texans"

Well, no ****. Wentz has a fractured vertebra so your choices are...Nick Foles, the defending Super Bowl winning QB or someone off the shelf.

The Panthers are driving down the field to try and score before the half. Cam scrambles for a first with 32 seconds left and two timeouts. Instead of calling time out, Cam does his stupid first down dance. Meanwhile, the clock goes the whole way down to 22 seconds before they actually use the TO.

Ultimately Rivera's fault, but Newton has looked like dog crap so it's amusing to see him show boating after a 5 yard run in that situation.

Right on cue, the Saints look terrible again. And Brees just threw an inexcusable pick six on the freaking 2pt

Pick two, rather. There are truly no great teams in the league this year.

Good win Saints. You’ve secured a bye.

Take the rest of the season off.

Not sure if serious
Mahomes is undoubtedly more explosive, but I think that Goff is better equipped for long-term success in the league.
amirite?
