Given your list it wouldn’t surprise me if the Rams and Chargers were the 4th and 5th most popular teams in LA.

Packers are probably ahead of them too. Heck, their opener against KC was 90% KC fans

I dont follow the NFL nearly as closely as I used to, but I am shocked to learn that Derek Anderson -- he of the equine nickname and hero of Cleveland for a season or two (more?) -- is still in the NFL and starting for Buffalo this weekend at the expense of the great Nathan J. Peterman.

"Back in the NFL" would be the correct description. He was signed on October 7th, but I am surprised to see that he played in actual games last year for Carolina.

If I’m kapernick and I’m still fighting the good fight on collusion, i would add this derek Anderson thing to the list of grievances

at a pitt tailgate two years ago, I speculated that the chargers are the fifth most popular team in LA behind

Rams
Raiders
Cowboys
Stillers

Discuss.

id also argue that the stillers or cowboys could probably sell 27K seats "stubhub center" (which is a thing) to stillers or cowboy fans in the greater los angeles area
The speculation is a bit off. SC, UCLA, and the Galaxy are all more popular, too. So the Bolts are more like at least eighth on the list.

Going with out-of-town teams, Green Bay, NYG, and probably Chicago and PHI would also outstrip the Phillip Riverses.

I'm gonna go on a limb and assume he was just speaking of NFL teams

No doubt. Just adding some color for how deep the hole is in terms of how uninterested people are. If UC Northridge had a football team, the Chargers would probably be behind them, too.

They have a very nice soccer program and were gracious hosts when the Akron Zips won the 2010 NCAA championship #gozips

I saw ESPN is rolling out a QB analysis series from the mind of Peyton Manning on their website. Nope, that won't be insufferable
