Now, with that said... in the movie Shaun is stuck in a rut. What is attractive at 20 isn't as attractive at 30. Liz held on long enough thinking he'd come around and he didn't, so she broke it off. This is not a super hard concept to grasp. I have plenty of friends that are stuck in their 20's despite being in the middle of their 30's. It happens.

Absolutely. I know a ton of people that peaked in high school or college and will never let it go. It just is what it is. I think I'm my best self at the moment, but we'll see what the future holds.

Shaun is: unambitious, lazy, deceitful, enables his bum friend, etc.

I'm just saying...Liz can do better than Shaun...which I guess is the romantic sub-plot of the movie as Shaun redeems himself as a charismatic leader

Final Analysis - While she does show some indications of intriguing personality traits, her inability to put them all together effectively makes this a hard pass. Best to let her buzz away than give her another opportunity to make your mouth swell.
