I don't think it has much to do with getting married... just thinking about dating other people in their late 30's is terrifying. If something were to happen to my SO, I'd definitely be single for life.

It's even worse in your 50's.

It's even worse in your 50's.

I had a whole post written up about 50 something women but I’m gonna just agree. Fortunately Mrs. F is in good health. I think I’d just sit in my recliner with the clicker rather than go to the trouble.

I'm in my 30s, so I don't know what it's like to go after 40+ year olds (pfidc...) but it seems unsavory to me, as a punk kid...

I've seen those commercials but no, haven't joined. I was on pof and okcupid in the past and while there are some good looking woman over 45, so many of them are slobs (not that my health is good so who am I to talk).

Having had the experience of someone almost 20 yrs younger than me, I’ll just say that you have to get lucky to find someone with a high maturity level. Because while the physical is a ton of fun, the crazy factor can cancel it out. I was fortunate that the physical and the mental were good matches.

amen to that. The only women I’ve been with that I felt like we’re emotionally mature were 42 and 39. Not saying this is a female problem because there men can be shitty too but **** it’s hard to find people who are emotionally intelligent

I've never frequented one but worked with a guy who did after getting divorced. The story was not exciting.

Yeah. I mean not to get corny but sex for me is more emotional than physical. Having sex without genuine interest between me and the girl is as fulfilling but more work than masturbating

It’s why I don’t like strip clubs. Paying money to have a girl rub up on you while pretending to be interested in you is neanderthalic

And don’t get me wrong, I’m pro sex work. There’s a need for it. But I will never consider spending a cent on it
