what’s funny is I’ve gone on five or so dates since then too from girls I’ve just met myself

hell I have a dinner on Saturday with a girl in Charlotte who is technically in a relationship but could realistically break up with him for me (he treats her poorly). Obviously it’s not guaranteed but

I go to the clinic, learn that they don’t recommend getting tested for herpes if you don’t have symptoms. Apparently 80% of people in the world have been exposed to either and the test isn’t useful compared to the stigma


anywho, girl accuses me of not practicing safe sex and giving her the disease. I very well may have, but herpes is complicated as **** (some girl I may have kissed years ago might have had genital herpes in her mouth…there’s so many random possibilities and honestly this girl in this story might have had it before bumping uglies with me). Regardless, she blames me and any hope of even a friendship seems microscopic at this point


I’m fine emotionally and good to move on but holy **** has this been a weird last two weeks

I did text her right after I found out and she said she has been HSV-1 positive. And….honestly…that could’ve been it. She could’ve given me oral herpes on my junk or on my mouth

Here's my tip of the day: You can't get herpes twice. So just go to town.

This probably isn't something you want to get involved in...but if she frees your willy,, it's all right to go back there...but this isn't a relationship...and this is going to be a block number situation at the end. So, just make sure that her ****** horrorscope and **** is in line with that when you finally pull the plug and move on from this slam piece...in the meantime, hopefully she provides a quality outlet...

It’s impossible to tell. Maybe I did but herpes tests are not a part of standard STD testing kits and it’s unlikely that most people on here have ever been tested. But you’re also likely to have it (like I said, the estimate for people who have herpes antibodies is like 75-80%. And it’s hard to distinguish oral from genital herpes because both can infect both areas). It’s weird

She may have had herpes in her system already but considering the timing she probably got it from me. Just unfortunate luck

Yeah, the guy who has never had any signs or symptoms of herpes and does not currently have an outbreak gave her herpes. Couldn't possibly be that the noncommittal woman who also seems to be batty could be **** somebody else. Or hell maybe even had herp already and is making pre excuses

It's definitely possible for me to be asymptomatic and still pass it on. We used a condom which lowers the chance of spread but it's not like I wore it when I was getting a Blue Jacket if you know what I mean

I don't think it has much to do with getting married... just thinking about dating other people in their late 30's is terrifying. If something were to happen to my SO, I'd definitely be single for life.

Same. Given my wife's body has tried to kill her twice already we've had this discussion in a real way. She says she wouldn't remarry but would date again. This is what her Aunt did/does and my wife feels she would do the same.
I would put zero effort into dating but would pursue anything that happened organically. Which is unlikely since I'm in introvert that works from home.
