I love people that do this, but this one might be my favorite.

Been enjoying THPS, but something about the remaster is among me motion sick. Only game that’s done this too me lately but can only play for an hour at a time or so before I need to stop all together.

I like it. But it is either much harder or I am much older. I fall down a ton more than I used to.

Also, the music being set to random instead of tied to the old levels takes a lot away for me.

Yup I’m in the same boat. Some of these challenges are frustrating.

I really hate that downhill map of THPS 1.

I think there is a way to get your own Spotify playlist in the game

I bet this is a music licensing issue.

@tifosi77 would know.

Xbox Series S (X without 4k, I think?) coming in at $299

They actually made a console without 4k? Stupid, even at that price point.

So it's basically all digital, it upscales to 4k for games, will playback 4k media, does 2k at 120FPS and has a SSD drive? I don't see the point. I'm all for lower price point options, but at some point there are too many similar options out there.

Played through the PS4 Ratchet and Clank over the long weekend. It was mostly fun, though it still had an occasional frustrating section. Went MUCH better than my attempts at playing the PS3 collection anyway.

Starting on Spider-Man now. Just did the first couple quests so far... seems like it's going to be pretty awesome.

Should have the remake of Kingdoms of Amalur arriving today, but that is going to sit for awhile... I am more interested in the supposed expansion/dlc to come, but I will definitely replay it at some point. I always loved that game and was pissed at the fiasco surrounding it... they built up this awesome world with all these different races and it died on the vine.

My wife is playing through Ratchet and Clank now on Ps4, she seems to be having fun with it.

Spiderman is awesome. It can get a wee bit repetitive at some points, but overall I had a blast playing through the story, and DLC. I didn't quite platinum it, but came close.

With the Series S being $299, this all but guarantees the Series X will be $499. Also, parents everywhere are going to be confused as ****.

Possible. It may actually be the randomization that facilitated the re-licensing all of these songs in the first place. Just give blanket favored nations terms to every licensor for each reuse and call it a day.

Ought to make it so you have to clear the first stage of Doom before you get the pregnancy result.

Xbox Series S will be available starting from $24.99 a month for 24 months and Xbox Series X will be available starting from $34.99 a month for 24 months.

I'm so confused by this. So with Xbox Ultimate Pass, I'd pay $34.99/month for 2 years and it'd give me the Series X, Game Pass Ultimate, and EA Play?

Hopefully Sony comes in at 499$ as well.. if so I'm in.

I still don't understand the 299$ version at all... it seems pointless.

Not pointless at all. It's a more affordable system that will play the same games as the X, except at a lower resolution. No disk drive, a smaller ssd, and 1440P instead of native 4k. Parents are going to eat that **** up. Especially those who haven't upgraded to a 4K tv yet.

Just the S is $600 for those two years. Not sure if it's worth it or not, I would figure you'd need to game a ton to get full value out of it.

The up to 120FPS stuff is nonsense, imo. They're going to handicap games at 30 and 60. That kind of hype for these products is stupid.

It depends on the cost of game pass. But yeah, I tend to grind out one game for months. I had Game Pass for a year and didn't take advantage of it much.

Gaming was so much more simple twenty years ago.
