PS Plus is like Xbox Live... allows you to play online, also gives you a couple free games monthly, and backs up all your saves and things to the cloud. Similar price I believe.

I always get the access when it goes on sale for Black Friday.. so I'm good till like 2023 at this point. I can almost guarantee somewhere in the box with the PS5 you at least got a free month or two access card to try it out.

Right... just like the xbox one. I didn't need it unless I wanted to play with my friends (yes... I have friends), which I typically do.

Rocket League might be free on PS+. It used to be but I'm not a PS guy so I'm not up to date.

You can also stack PS+ subs for years on end when it's on sale, which is pretty cool.

I think I mentioned earlier but the new Ratchet and Clank and Spider-Man (both original and Miles Morales). Also don't sleep on the built in Astro's playground really helps you get the hang of the controller.

edit: Horizon Zero Dawn is also incredible and you should give that a go too.

They have like 10-20 free games in the store you can look through. I think tLoU is on there at least the first one. Uncharted series is great too.

If you're gonna play Uncharted don't skip Lost Legacy. Underrated gem imo. They are all just stonking great fun..

The Nathan Drake Collection (first 3 games remastered for PS4) is $20. UC4 and Lost Legacy (both native PS4) are on sale for a couple days for $10 each, but are regularly $20 each. So that's five excellent games for the cost of one AAA new release.

Uncharted 4 is also in the PS+ Collection.

Started playing The Last of Us Remastered. I need to get my brain set to PS controller buttons. It kept telling me to hit X and I'd be hitting square because that's where the X is on the Xbox controller.

I've never had any issues with my EA/Origin account. Since NHL 22 was released, I've had at least 5 separate attempts to break in and have had to reset my password. I have 2 factor on so I'm not too concerned about it but it's really weird. I guess my online vs ranking is the best it's ever been but people don't actually care about that right?
