I know it's just a game, but I feel bad for robbing poor people's apartments. I have to in order to buy supplies. And I've decided to play not nice and kill as many of these guards as I can. They're bad people and I enjoy shooting them in the face with an arrow.
That you can kill the guards at will is one of the reasons I didn't like the game all that much. In the first couple Thief games, Garrett was absolutely against killing, and if you played on the top difficulty level you would fail a mission if you killed anyone. In this reboot you can be Killer McMurdermaster, and there's nothing stopping you.
So let me get this straight. You enjoy shooting squirrels and whatever other rodent things you dislike with a bb gun or machine gun you have in your arms that day. But you won't shoot arrows at video game bad guys.

The title of the game is Thief, not Serial Killer. :P

Aside from The Division, what big title releases are on the schedule for 2015?
Batman, mortal kombat, metal gear, halo... Those are off the top of my head.

I thief too, lol. Just shoot arrows at the bad guys. Really, though, they piss me off. They're mean as hell.

Dishonored is going to be one of the free games for PS+ on PS3. I held off buying that game for so long, and now I'm glad I did.

My kids keep e-mailing me at work telling me about how great The Show is. Savages, torturing their dad like this!

I guess I should check on the free PS3 games each month as well as the PS4... always forget that they have a different set for each.

Totally unrelated, looks like Blizzard has finally launched the Legacy of the Void beta... Perhaps there is hope that it will actually come out sometime this year.

The more I play Thief, the more I like it. Wish I could attach a nail to my blackjack stick thing so I could beat their ass better, but I guess just knocking them out will do.

Axiom Verge came out yesterday for Ps4, it's very Metroidvania like, quite awesome so far.

Dishonored was fun as hell, I wish they made more games like that (or a sequel would be nice). I'm a sucker for that steampunk dystopic video game universe.

Pillars of Eternity is fun but tough. I'm playing on the regular difficulty level, and I still get my butt kicked on a regular basis. This isn't a tactical RPG with a grid for combat, but you really need to pay attention to character positioning anyway. For example, wizards get absolutely shellacked in melee combat, and you have to make sure your AoE spells don't flambé your fighters. The pause button is your best friend.

I got to play about 30 minutes of The Show last night. My kids, home on Spring Break, played off and on all day. Turds.
I did some batting practice and pitching practice, and found the controls to make more sense than I thought they would. What a beautiful game, too.

Dishonored was awesome, I loved the blink power and all the different ways to finish missions. I had an absolute blast playing it and have been meaning to go back to it.

How is pitching done? I found the throbbing target area so disorienting that I could only pitch for like an inning or two before my head would hurt. So RTTS as a fielder was all I had going for me

Not something I was going to buy, but I think it came free on PS+. So I downloaded it and have been nicely surprised. Took a while to learn controls, but I'm now running around roofs and alleys, jumping, taking guys down, etc.. If you get it cheap, give it a try.

who all has a Wii U on here now? from the nintendo direct yesterday, looks like N64 games are finally coming to the VC and I see that Mario 64 is now available! There is a ballot to vote for what character you want added to smash bros. and 200cc MK8 dlc coming soon.
