It wasn't among the five titles included in the launch announcement. But Sony own the IP, so it would sorta be surprising if they didn't.

Polyphony has said they're 'not interested in revisiting old titles' which is rich given they're not terribly interested in releasing new ones either. That said I wouldn't really be too into playing GT or GT2 anyway. I'd really like to have GT6 available on PSN though since it has, like, cars, and uh, tracks.

Sony finally gave in? Cross platform PC to console has been around a little while now and Microsoft has been public about wanting console to console cross platform play. But I think this is the first time Sony has given the okay.

Yeah.

They're walking back their position. And not only is gameplay cross platform but so is commerce, which was the big sticking point. They didn't want people to be able to buy stuff for their games outside of PSN.

The First Party console manufacturer that also makes the PC OS that runs the world was first to allow PC-console cross-platform gaming?!?!?! You don't say.

The First Party console manufacturer whose biggest market advantage is platform-exclusive titles was late to the party on this?!?!?! Say it ain't so.

It made sense for Sony, but man they were facing a ton of backlash from the gaming community. I get the market dominance aspect (and also getting 100% of the microtransactions in said games), but the PR was not worth it here.

Not that people are going to remember, but X360 did this exact thing when they had market share. They wouldn't invite the opportunity to cross-play when Sony and others were clamoring for it. I remember then asking for Call of Duty crossplay.

Players on PlayStation hold an unfair advantage to those who play Xbox. Specifically the PS3 controller.

Xbox just officially announced mouse & keyboard support. As long as FPS developers are smart and either disable M&K or have separate matchmaking, I'm fine with it. I do not want to be going up against M&K users while on a controller though. That would be a damn bloodbath.

Your best bet would be using Discord on a phone/computer.

Anyone hear about Telltale shutting down? I was kinda over Telltale games, but I admit I'm disappointed we won't be getting a Tales from Borderlands 2; I enjoyed the hell out of that one. I immediately bought Borderlands 2 after I finished Tales because they presented that setting so well -- perhaps even better than the actual games.

Yes, and it's completely shitty. It looks like TG violated both state and federal labor laws in the way they managed ('managed') the layoffs, and they're facing a class action suit as a result.

Seems like TG overall, was poorly managed, and weren't capable of handling the overnight success they got from the 1st season of The Walking Dead.

The amount of high profile licenses they had was absurd. Couldn’t have been cheap.

Heh.... according to IGN, Red Dead 2 will have a 105 gig install footprint and support up to 32 players in a single multiplayer session.

Do those LEGO vid-dia games online multiplayer or just a split screen co op?
