Oh man, I'm pumped for Golden Eye.
Spent many hours playing that game. I unlocked all the cheat codes except on the second level I believe. Could never get that one.
Also, spent many hours playing vs mode, and had turned it into a drinking game. That and Mario Kart 64 brings back a lot of college memories.

GTA 6 leaks are all over Twitter. Rockstar confirms they are real.

Bit of an odd coincidence that the leak happens on the 9th anniversary of the release of GTA V.

man it’s so disappointing. San Andreas is in my top five games ever list. VC and III were also tremendous fun
IV had a good heart but I couldn’t get over the realistic” controls. V felt completely soulless to me and really just engineered for the MMORPG aspect which I have no interest in
I don’t even care about the leaks. I honestly doubt I’ll even buy it

The only thing I didn't like about V was that you were forced to switch between characters for the sake of the storyline. I mean I get it, but it doesn't mean I had to like it. 6 is supposed to be the same way. There was also talk that some of the language was going to be toned down because 2022.
Supposedly these leaks are a year old and it's far from a finished product. From a developer side, I can understand the disappointment in this stuff being leaked since it was held so close to the vest for the last 7 or 8 years. But from a customer side... no, I still somehow feel bad for Rockstar. I kinda wanted this game to be released without any preview. But I'll probably buy it and the PS5 once it is released.

Longtime console hacker CTurt has blasted what he calls an "essentially unpatchable" hole in the security of the PS4 and PS5, detailing a proof-of-concept method that should allow for the installation of arbitrary homebrew applications on the consoles.
CTurt says he disclosed his exploit, dubbed Mast1c0re, to Sony via a bug bounty program a year ago without any sign of a public fix. The method exploits errors in the just-in-time (JIT) compilation used by the emulator that runs certain PS2 games on the PS4 (and PS5). That compilation gives the emulator special permissions to continually write PS4-ready code (based on the original PS2 code) just before the application layer itself executes that code.
By gaining control of both sides of that process, a hacker can write privileged code that the system treats as legitimate and secure. "Since we're using the JIT system calls for their intended purpose, it's not really an exploit, just a neat trick," CTurt said of a since-patched JIT exploit on the PS4's web browser.

This game wasn't rumored to be out until 2024/2025. What people looked at yesterday/today will be seasoned by like another 3 years and that's if what we're seeing already isn't a year old or something.
There's nothing I'd worry about given Rockstar/Take-Twos quality control.

IV/V were fantastic. Period. I never bothered with GTA Online much.

GTA Online if anything, well like most other single player games, killed single player for the most part. They stopped supporting the single player, bugs went unfixed, story missions were jacked up, the stock market never worked right. Just trash.

I just can’t get into the single player games. Online PvP is my main interest in gaming these days.

I tried online exactly once. Loaded up, turned on passive mode, and some loser in his mom's basement spent the entirety of my brief session trying to ram me with his car. Never played again.

I’m with ya, VLB. Single player games are too slow moving. I can’t **** stand watching cut scenes. And when there actually is action, there’s little excitement in killing AI.

Eff that noise, the less I have to interact with other human beings the better.

lol, all I play is multiplayer now. I'm in a Halo discord, so I routinely team up with people I talk to often, which is a lot of fun.

Speaking of, Discord integration is now available for XSS and XSX, and it works beautifully. Much better than party and game chat.

Re: excitement in gaming, I still haven't found another game that matches the excitement of winning a round of PUBG. So many things need to go your way AND you need to out play whoever you encounter. It's both the most exciting and most infuriating game I've ever played.
