I've said this earlier, but I have gravitated more towards low attention span games as I've gotten older (i.e. mobile puzzle games). It's depressing.
This is why Rocket League is great. Super quick games that you can jump right into when you have a bit of free time.

I'm still playing a ton of PUBG, which is the exact opposite. If I make it to the final circles, I'm looking at at least 25-30 minutes per match.
One day you'll man up and play the ultimate BR game, Tetris 99

This is what I went through 2010-2015, it gets better when you just put the mobile games down. I’m back on console now
Hah, I have to try this. Like when it is 9 PM, our daughter just went to bed. Do I really feel like going down to the basement to fire up RDR2? Or do I just want to lay here lifelessly and play Toon Blast?

For me, RDR2 is the answer without question.

I love RDR2, but I just don't have the time to invest in it. I mean if I have 30 minutes to an hour to play... that just isn't enough time to do anything meaningful in that game. Which is why I usually just fire up NHL or Wrestling or something mind numbing for a bit.

"Mind numbing" is the best way to describe NHL 19.

I don't even play NHL online.. I have a franchise going and I just make crazy stupid trades and just play for fun. Ditto with WWE2k or whatever. RDR2 is really good, but I just don't have the time to invest. I will eventually finish it just may take me a year or two. I got the new God of War when it released.. haven't touched it. I got the sequel to Shadows of War for Christmas in 2017... haven't touched it. That spinoff to Uncharted they did.. got it when it came out.. haven't touched it either. I play through the Lego games with my wife here and there and when my nieces/nephews come over.

I think the last "new" game I finished was the new Spiderman game. My wife was still working weekends then and 12 hour shifts... now she is off all weekends/holidays and there is so much stuff that needs done at the house, just not enough time in the day. I'm not even trying to blame it on her. She will tell me to go play for a few hours and she will read or whatever, but I don't seem to have an off switch these days. I don't know how to relax there is always something I feel I need to get done. It's a curse haha.

NHL takes a half hour per game for menu loading alone.

Elite Dangerous has consumed all of my gaming time. In January I left on an expedition called Distant Worlds 2 for the furthest point reachable in the Milky Way. I reached the end of the journey this past weekend.

The publisher just put out an update making the game easier to get into for new players. Anyone looking for a 1:1 sim of flying a spaceship nearly anywhere in the Milky Way should give it a shot.

I did a lot of exploring of undiscovered systems and this was one of the highlights of the trip...a system with three neutron stars and a white dwarf.
Image
There are over 400 billion systems in the game, and in 4 years players have discovered .036% of the Milky Way.
Right now in game I’m 65,475 light years from our solar system.

On the verge of selling a Rocket League decal for $75 to $100. People are crazy for paying real money for this stuff...

I've never traded with anyone so I have several years of that junk and crates just sitting there. Occasionally I'll get bored and go through the collection trading stuff up. Since I drive the BTTF car I don't even use any of the stuff since the car is unable to take modifications. One day I'll get really bored and when someone says "Trade?" I'll just give them everything.

If you have Champion 4 crates they sell for about 45 a piece. Reddit rocket exchange has people that will give you items/paypal for your stuff...

:face: I just traded about 50 crates to my nephew since he's all about cosmetics and I'm too cheap to buy keys.

You can buy keys from other people for cheaper. On Xbox they're about 45 cents a piece

What are your thoughts. I'm playing through the world of light right now. Love it. There are some battles that are impossible. The Boss and Dr Wiley are 2 that come to mind.

Also kicking ass on just going through and completing the challenges.

I haven't even played that far. I just fight the kids. I've watched them play world of light and it looks like fun. I can't put down Diablo 3 right now.

For shits and giggles, I tried to play Fortnite on the Switch. It hurt my eyes running at 30hz. Yikes.

Oops I meant to put 45 cents a piece. Still, it is possible to turn all of that stuff into real money. Another thing that is worth actual money are the random drops you get. The non-crate very rare items, like the ink boost or a metallic paint finish, is also worth about 45 cents a piece.

The decal I got as a twitch stream drop the other day I sold last night for 175 keys.
