I go back to, Helldivers II for $40 is an absolute steal. I really cant think of the last time I played a multiplayer game that I enjoyed this completely.
Yup. For the price, no pay to win, just jump in and play without toxic ****. It’s sublime.
The literal only superficial complaint I have is that I the multicolored armors contrast with some of the capes I want to wear.

I'm going to have to pick this game up. I love the whole ethos by the developers: making a shooter with a community that isn't filled with toxicity. No dodinting about aim assist and hackers. Brilliant.

The PlayStation chief just visited the London studio five days ago.

Strange things afoot with EA DICE, too. Marcus Lehto was hired in 2021 to head up the narrative aspect of Battlefield games. He created Ridgeline Studios in Seattle and has been very active on social media asking BF fans what they wanted in a narrative BF title. And just engaging with the community about Battlefield in general.

Well, he's removed all references to EA, Battlefield, and Ridgeline from his LinkedIn and other socials. Ridgeline has no job openings, which is very strange when they are full speed ahead on the next BF game.

My guess is that the studio has been shuttered and Lehto went back to the Halo franchise. No official word or announcement yet though.

And Lehto had an all hands meeting the first week of February with his studio.

OK, he left of his own accord. Not direct EA ****.

Bummer. Steel City Con feels like it's big enough to move downtown. PGX I'm not so sure.
Hotel attached to the convention center is shutting down tomorrow. What a disaster.

So I was going to look for a time suck game to get on the Switch I can play for a long time but set down whenever I need to. Switch because I want it mobile. Logged in to look, and I completely forgot that I bought Civ 6 like 5 months ago when it was on sale...which is exactly the type of game I was looking for.

I haven't played a Civ game in, well, a long time, so I'm excited to give it a shot. Read reviews that say it runs well on Switch, and the controls are manageable. Giddyup

Unfortunately it makes sense. Doubt there's a need for a hotel there without any conventions.

Finished up the story in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth the other day. Naturally still have a zillion things I could do, so probably not done with it for good.

Really fun game. Ending was a touch confusing.

I'm almost at the end of Yakuza 0....still doing some side stuff. I'm officially hooked into the series though. I've bought all the others.

I'm always happy to see the termination of a Hobby Lobby lease. **** off to somewhere else.
