Oh also I downloaded the San Andreas remaster and it looks absolutely horrible. It’s weird to go back to an old GTA. Everything feels slow and clunky. It’ll be deleted to make room for Halo.
I think I feel sick

Halo Infinite multiplayer did indeed launch today. They’re calling it a beta, which makes sense considering we’re 3 weeks early. Looking forward to diving in later

They are releasing a single player campaign, right?

Hmm, I just finished my second playthrough of Mass Effect 1, so maybe I'll pause to give Halo a try. Thanks!

Halo CE is my favorite single player experience I’ve ever had. The Master Chief Collection on game pass has the first four campaigns (and multiplayer). It also has remasters of CE and 2 that are actually well done unlike the GTA mess.

I never really got into Halo. I enjoyed some of them, but was never hardcore. Certainly not like I am with ME.

I have never played Halo. To my recollection, I've never used an Xbox of any sort. Maybe a demo unit at a Circuit City or something? But that's it. Am I weird?

360 was wildly popular but the other Xbox consoles have been lower on the totem pole. For whatever reason a ton of people in my freshman dorm had the OG Xbox. This was 02-03 so it had been out for a year or so but PS2 was absolutely wrecking it. Even still a bunch of people had it and the network in our dorm worked as a giant LAN party. Halo nights were awesome. Pizza, beer, and yelling **** talk down the hall.

I never got into Halo either. It came out when I had a PlayStation, so the only time I played was at a friends house where I was constantly slaughtered. Didn’t really inspire the need to seek the game out on my own.

Someone on reddit said it was like they put these games in an AI updater and sold it as is. I'm inclined to think that way.

I've been playing it for the nostalgia factor. It's probably the shittiest port/remaster I've ever seen but it scratches the itch and I haven't had any bugs or glitches yet.

Back in 2018 I bought the ports of GTA3, GTA:VC, and GTA:SA for $18 total on PS4. They were direct ports, the only thing that changed was they added Trophys. They took them down when the Remastered titles were released.

Yeah, they took them off of Steam, too. Folks are not happy.

I'm really loving Halo (now that I've adjusted the controller settings). There are issues such as the progression system is hilariously tedious and the inability to select specific game types, but the core gameplay is a lot of fun. It's much more fun that Vanguard. Serious buyers remorse on that one...

So the Mortal Kombat arcade 1up just popped up at best buy for $350....which is way cheaper than I've seen them in forever...so I bought it. Damn impulses.

So that makes 4...not sure where this one is going to go downstairs haha.

@DigitalGypsy66: You still playing BF2042? It’s getting **** on pretty much everywhere. Somebody posted a gameplay video from an XSX and it was like 3fps, lol.

I’m not playing it much, it just doesn’t run well for me…and it feels underwhelming. Big, open maps with no cover, so you get farmed by vehicles with no reliable counter, and even though the maps are huge with 128 players, it still feels empty at times. It’s very weird.

I was able to play for a bit with my brother, who has a PS5. He thinks it runs well, fwiw, but the bugs were driving us crazy. He has to add me in the Social tab on his PS5, then we can party up. We get into a game - with no VOIP yet, so we’re communicating via text message - play for a bit, and he dies bug can’t be revived. So he backs out of the server, but can’t rejoin my server because it’s full. So I back out, remake the party, join a server and the same thing happens all over again.

It’s frustrating, and this is the first BF game that I have little to no interest in playing. There are patches on the way, so I’m hopeful they can fix it and make it at least playable.

I have it downloaded but haven’t played it because I saw console doesn’t have aim assist. I’m not matching with PC players when I don’t have aim assist.

I wish Halo Infinite had a way to match players based on skill level. I’m getting **** slaughtered on every map (1-2 kills, 10-15 deaths). I feel bad for my teammates.

Remember, frags are OP, pistols are deadly from range if you can get head shots, and finish off your assault rifle spray with a well timed melee. If you have an elite controller, try jumping/hip firing while engaging in CQB.
The aiming in Halo is just awful. Either it’s too fast and the crosshairs moves right past opponents, or too slow and I’m killed before ever taking a shot. I’ve messed with the settings all day to no avail, and found that this is a pretty popular issue right now.

I don’t expect to be up there with guys who play 10 hours a day, but I had 0 kills and 18 deaths in the last match. I am not that bad.
