But that's why I like the niche streamers who are just there to play the game and shoot the ****. They aren't breaking 20k subs but they still have nice communities within the game communities.
I honestly enjoy those niche, casual streamers more than the big name ones.

I will never understand why people are constantly tipping these massive streamers that make multiple six figures. Then again, I will never understand the camgirl stuff too.

I don't have as much time as I used to, but I enjoyed watching people play the tougher content in Destiny, mostly because I could never get a group to actually do it.

I watch streams and replays of racing games, but it's more about studying their technique than watching any one person specifically.

The only thing I will occasionally watch are the ones that play old-school RPGs from NES/SNES. If it is a very small community, it's actually enjoyable to interact with others that share that interest. I don't understand the streamers that have several thousand people in the chat, and the chat moves at the speed of lightning. What's the point?

I have a friend that would rather watch people play than play himself. It bugs me to no end.

Between YouTube and Twitch, more people watch gaming videos than watch Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and ESPN combined.

As much as I loved God of War, they really dropped the ball with Niflheim. What a boring, boring, pain that is. I did a full loop through and got under 3k mist echoes... I need 50k total to finish. Ugh.

Sucks cuz I'm so close to completing it that I don't really want to stop and yet, it doesn't feel worth it.

The only gaming YT channel that I regularly watch is Jimmy Broadent (VR racing games). Do not have a Twitch.

Roblox just made it's debut in my house. It has been Minecraft for about a year which worked for me because I fell in love with it and play often myself.

Prepare yourself to get begged to buy the in game currency for the kids. One thing that Minecraft didn't have much of when my kids were really into it. Now it's Fortnite with a side of Roblox...

Streaming would be a tough life. Pro-Gaming before twitch and that would have been much more satisfying. I actually hung out a bit with Fatil1ty in high school.

He's actually really good about in game purchases but, as you said, Minecraft has few and the pay content doesn't necessarily increase the game experience. The entire game is included in the price.

I was half expecting to see NES World Championship or Stadium Events in your listing.

Ok so now that I know more about this effing "game" the less I like it. He's still not asking to buy anything but this thing is just one big annoyance machine.

This is beating a dead horse but damn do I miss the "old days" of gaming. I hate that the vast majority of games now have all kinds of additional paid stuff as a prominent part of the game. Want to go back to a simpler time.

NHL 19 is focusing on online this year. Guess it's another year of waiting until it's on EA access to play it.

I play exclusively online so that's good news for me. I just hope they improve the AI and fix some of the clunky aspects like puck pickups. Pond hockey looks like a cool game mode that I'll play once and immediately forget about like 3s or NHL 94 mode.
