Bought my XIM APEX for $90 a year or so ago, and just sold it for $100. Worked well, but I’m good enough now with a controller that it no longer makes sense to keep it.

Changing gears, I saw a new Mass Effect trailer recently that basically showed how ME4 was going to start. I got excited, thinking that maybe we were getting a new game soon. Then somebody posted a job ad for a ME developer the other day on Reddit, which means we’re probably still years away from a new game. Not happy about that at all.

As expected, I haven’t played Flight Sim since the week of release.

Finally got some new games coming out soon, though. Looking forward to dodinting about the new NHL. I’ll also pickup Battlefield and Vanguard. Then of course Halo in December.

Yeah, I played the first week, and will be uninstalling it the second I need the space.

We’re less than six weeks from the early access launch of Battlefield 2042 (October 15) and we’ve had little actual gameplay footage. In the lifecycle of previous BF titles, we’ve had a beta or at least a hands on event where content creators record and share multiplayer gameplay.

I’m wondering if this game is going to get delayed. Although that would suck, I’m all for getting it right or as close to it on release.

It looks so futuristic I think I’m not going to like it. COD took this turn a few years back with the ability to jump across the screen and basically fly. Lasers. Technology. All this things made me leave COD and turn to BF. I guess Battlefield just did WWI and WWII and needed to bring something different this time but I think it’s going to feel too similar to ultra modern CODs for me.

I played the technical test/alpha a few weeks ago, and it really didn’t feel much different than say BF4. There are zip lines, grappling hooks, and a medic syrette gun that can heal people from a distance, and an automated sentry gun. No wall running or jet packs yet. The syrette gun could actually revive at a distance during the technical test, but they’ve nerfed that and replaced it with the standard shock paddles.

Let’s be real though: the “future” setting allows for greater weapon customization, as well as character customization: more micro-transaction revenue for EA since they no longer charge for DLC or expansion packs. You can’t do that well in historical modes, although they sure tried to in BFV.

Buyer backed out, saying that he put offers on multiple APEX’s and didn’t realize he was on the hook for each. Not sure I believe that, but whatever, canceled the sale and relisted. Just sold it again for full price (+$10), and have already been paid.

First sale using eBay’s seller new payment system. Glad to see that we still get a discount with shipping.

Don’t you run the risk of being banned for using XIM?

I never played multiplayer with it, only ever using it on single player campaigns.

Same. First online game was NFL 2k1 and I got my ass kicked.

Failed out of a semester of college because of Dreamcast. Ended up getting mini pens ticket package that ran into playoffs. So worth it. It was awesome.

I mean it was legit like 80some to nothing. By the end, the guy started to feel bad for me and rather than continue talking **** he started giving me gameplay advice.

Our daughter got a Super Mario Lego set last year...it's the one where you can basically put a level together and watch it on the app. That lasted about one week and now there are pieces scattered to the four corners of our family room downstairs.

N64 games supposedly coming to switch online in the future, I'm excited for those wireless controllers they have been putting out with each new system.

Eastward (from the Stardew valley people) is out and it looks pretty tempting
