This deal will hurt PC way more than it'll hurt consoles. The only thing I see changing on the console end is more season passes and a lot less free cosmetics.

Been playing Age of Empires II HD recently, and only just realized that there is newer DLC for it on Steam. Pretty cool to see fan made mods end up published as legit DLC to a 20 year old game.

I just finished OoT on emulation, and I think I'm going to play Majora's Mask next. I tried playing it years ago and hated it but want to give it another try.

Borderlands 3 is looking to be really good based on the gameplay footage they showed the other day. I was replaying Borderlands 2 a month ago,and the movement has not aged well compared to modern shooters. I had a checklist of gameplay improvements BL3 needed and it looks like it has everything I was hoping.
ex: Sliding, climbing, better inventory ui, and more variety in character abilities with completely different powers.

Finished up Enderal. Finishing every last quest and every every dungeon took me along the lines of 250 hours total. The ending of the game is a massive twist, but I really liked it. For a completely free mod that is built on Skyrim, the game is absolutely amazing. IMO, Enderal is every bit as good as Skyrim itself.

You would think that given these are reissues of legacy games it would be difficult for KDE to screw it up. But I have full confidence they will find a way.

I've been playing Age of Empires II HD lately. I've played it off and on for years, but never really delved into it. I always played with All Techs checjed, and usually just turtled until my Wonder was complete. I've been learning the ins and outs of the different civilizations and trying to win in other ways (and without cheat codes). Been having a blast with it.

Picked up Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and I'm having a good time with it. Combat is a little shaky, but everything else has been great. The game, so far, feels like The Witcher meets Breath of the Wild. I'm digging the Greek setting. Arriving at Thermopylae for the first time really blew me away getting to see the terrain and gaining a better perspective on how everything happened the way it did.

Been playing the original Borderlands game of the year edition on my PS4. Not too far yet (level 16) but really liking it. I played the original version when it first came out years ago. A nice RPG and FPS. My two favorites in one. Graphics are pretty good. Games is not complicated for this old guy to play. Lots of action with very few dull moments. Keeps me busy on rainy days.

Haven't played Borderlands 1, but have played Borderlands 2. From what I've heard, BL2 is better in almost every way.

Have to agree 2 is better in many ways. They learned a lot in the three years for 2 to be released after the original. Don't forget the original came out in 2009. Ten years ago it was the best and I still enjoy it. Up to level 20 now. I am kinda weird with old stuff. I like cars made in the 60's better then new ones.

This was one of the first video games my parent's bought me for Nintendo. They should have been arrested for child abuse. What a brutally difficult game.

As much as I want to like AC games they are always too iterative for me and I never make it to the endPicked up Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and I'm having a good time with it. I gave Ghosts 'n Goblins a go over the weekend. That was always one of the most difficult games for me and after 20 minutes of getting nowhere I realized that it's still difficult and I still want to throw the controller at the wall after playing. I'm starting to get worked up thinking about it. Must play Legendary Wings to calm down.Source of the post What a brutally difficult game.

I have always felt the same way about those games...really wanting to like them but just not being able to. "Iterative" is a great word and hits on why I don't enjoy them.As much as I want to like AC games they are always too iterative for me and I never make it to the endPicked up Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and I'm having a good time with it. Nintendo hard is a real thing. At the risk of sounding like an old man, it's something kids today don't understand. Today's games are very forgiving. The NES didn't have time for your childish ****. Oh, you're renting a game for the weekend? Good luck getting past the first few levels, you ****.I gave Ghosts 'n Goblins a go over the weekend.
