Got Diablo 3 for the kids for Easter and I started playing it, uh oh, this is the kind of game that can get marriages in trouble. Must tread lightly or get the wife to start playing.
Don't worry, it gets incredibly repetitive and the season rewards are turds.

Can someone give me some tips on the Nintendo Switch channel and is it worth signing up for $20/year.

I know people talked about it before in this thread, but can't find it.

I played for a few hours over the weekend with the kids and we are hooked. I was pretty big on WoW until I realized I probably wouldn't have a wife if I went down the road I was going down. So between revisiting a form of that and Gauntlet for NES, this is scratching the right itch for me right now. Just wish the kids didn't switch gear every 25 seconds to see what their drop was.

I believe for individual it was only $14 and I posted something a couple pages back about how you can get almost another year for free by doing something through amazon or twitch.

I love it. I bought the wireless retro controllers and find myself playing the NES games a lot. I just wished they would crank the games out faster than 3 a month. I haven't used online for smash or diablo yet, but it's been well worth the $14 for the NES games. I have had a couple issues with the kids trying to play online and having to use my profile to access it, so maybe I should have went with the family plan. Here is the free year deal

You probably shouldn't know WoW classic is coming out this summer then...

I'm aware. I don't have a computer at home, so that may be a blessing in disguise.

I feel like I'm the exact demo for WoW classic, as I was 16 when that game came out. I just have no desire to get back into it, and don't have the time anymore. Teenage me is quite depressed.

Source of the post don't have the time anymore
this is the hardest thing for me now. it's basically I can play video games or I can choose not to get any sleep because there is no other free time unless it's late night.

Yep, same. I can wedge a couple of hours between dinner and bed, but that's about it. Probably for the best lol

I have all the time I want to play and I maybe play 5 to 10 hours per week. Played enough over winter, time to do outdoor activities.

With the baby, he goes to bed at 7:30, and wife goes to bed at 9 - so I get 9-11 to play every night, but it's just not the same anymore man, I get uncomfortable playing that long and that consistently.

I suspect, it'll be even less time as he gets older.

I have games I got 6 months ago that I haven't even started yet. It's just not a priority at this point in my life. Too many things to do my wife and I don't even have kids.

I only have time to hop between Destiny 2 and Division 2. There was a point up until the past weekend where I maybe had 3 hours tops a week of free time to game when i was home (between lifting, band stuff, and hockey).

I think i played about 6 hours total on Saturday alone because i finally had time to sit back and relax.

Division 2 is the only game I'm playing at the moment, and even then I'm burning out on it.

A few months back, it was just me and the oldest boy. I downloaded the HALO saga and we played for around 14 hours on a Saturday. It was amazing and brought back some very fine memories of yesteryear

Halo CE is one of my favorite stories. A buddy and I would play MCC online all day and night.

The flood reveal in Halo CE is one of my fondest memories in gaming. What a great and unexpected moment.

It's time to play Good News, Bad News with Tif.

Good News: ISP arrived today and got all set up and my PC still works after being in storage.

Bad News: I used the wrong AC adapter on my 27" monitor and fried it after about ten minutes.

Also Good News: I now have a new 32" monitor.

I've said this earlier, but I have gravitated more towards low attention span games as I've gotten older (i.e. mobile puzzle games). It's depressing.

Honestly, this monitor is kind of obnoxiously large. I have to dig out one of my old, lower monitor stands, because as it is right now the center of the display is at eye level, and the top bezel is taller than to top of my head.

This is what I went through 2010-2015, it gets better when you just put the mobile games down. I’m back on console now

This is why Rocket League is great. Super quick games that you can jump right into when you have a bit of free time.

I'm still playing a ton of PUBG, which is the exact opposite. If I make it to the final circles, I'm looking at at least 25-30 minutes per match.
