So I can play this at home with 4 people in my living room like the good old days, right? That works for me.

No beer. If you want the full experience it's Mountain Dew and Pizza Rolls.

I never played Goldeneye, but wasn't that the Bond game that had (almost) all the likeness of the film actors in the game?
Yeah, hence the notoriousness of playing as Oddjob.

My full experience would be gravity bongs and molson export. Hell, we used to drive to Canada and play bond for an entire weekend in the hotel because you could drink at 18 just to change things up

To think I started college with GoldenEye and finished with Halo. What a time to be alive.

That was the golden era of gaming and you won't convince me otherwise.

That's great Twitter content there. That sound was very distinct to Goldeneye

Apparently the controls are all wonky for switch and you have to do some manual changes

Having never played GoldenEye originally, I attempted to play it on my RetroPI a few years ago (Raspberry PI Linux video game emulator) with a Logitech controller. I couldn't get the controls to do anything. It was like I could play on one stick or the other, or just the dpad, but not two at a time like other emulated games. So I'm not surprised the controls are messed up.

I just played through Dam on Xbox. The controls are mapped exactly how you'd expect. I didn't have to adjust them at all. It does take some getting used to having auto aim and not needing to "aim down sight" often. It looks as good as it could without doing a legit remaster. Frame rate sucks, though. Also it's very strange to play without the N64 fog effect.

Regarding Bond, Online multiplayer for switch was a blast, didn't really care for how the controls are setup. Local multiplayer on Xbox was terrific as well and I much prefer the Xbox controls. Everything felt smoother on the Xbox. 310MB game haha
