@nocera: Bought my Elite 2 on 12/31, and stick drift is so bad on the move stick that I just started a warranty exchange on it. Hoping for a quick turnaround, because there’s no way I’m playing Halo with the standard XSX controller.
Bummer. Can you adjust drift in the game settings? I’ve had mine for well over a year and no big drift issues yet. But then you and others have issues immediately. Microsoft needs to get their **** together for Elite 3

Dead zone is maxed out and still drifts. I have glided into quite a few deaths in Halo after intending to stop, lol.

At least you’re under warranty. I only notice drift on map screens of PUBG or Warzone. Minimal movement and I’ve not been able to reproduce it in game while aiming. Good thing cause my warranty is definitely expired.

Yeah, and I bought the Ms extended warranty because it was a no brainer. Paid $10 for express shipping back, but only because I’m going to struggle without being able to play Halo every day.

Speaking of, had my best game this morning.

So I replaced the battery on my wife's old Macbook Air, so it now doesn't randomly shut off when unplugged. It's running really well.

Then I remembered that Steam has a bunch of MacOS titles available, so I installed it on the Macbook. I'm bach-ing it during the week for the next few months, and I'll need something to do.

There are a bunch of my Steam games that will work on the Mac! But this Air has an absurd 128GB flash drive...so few games will actually fit on the computer. So dumb.

Have you heard any rumors about an Elite 3? The only reason I haven’t gone out and grabbed another Elite 2 is because I don’t want to have to turn around and get a 3 if one comes out soon.

Nah just fan speculation. Elite 1 came out in 2015. Elite 2 in 2019. If it keeps that same schedule that would put Elite 3 in 2023.

I’ve had my elite series 2 controller for about 2 years and haven’t had any issues yet. I feel like I am one of the lucky ones

I will say that the controller is so damn nice that everyone basically deals with the issues and goes through the exchange process. That does say a lot.

I wanted an elite controller for years before the elite2 was released. I got one and it worked well for the year and a half I used it before going PCMR. I’ve been strictly kbm since.

I am currently Plat 6. I will send you a friend request, I am always down to play whatever mode. I do enjoy ranked the most
TIL that you are never actually notified of requests. Stumbled upon a section of the Xbox app and saw your gamertag there, then added you. Oops.

I was a long time kbm player, being a PC games most of my life. The switch to a controller for these types of games was quite the learning curve. Wish I started sooner, but I couldn’t imagine going back now.

To be clear, Microsoft will continue to make Call of Duty and other popular Activision Blizzard titles available on PlayStation through the term of any existing agreement with Activision. And we have committed to Sony that we will also make them available on PlayStation beyond the existing agreement and into the future so that Sony fans can continue to enjoy the games they love. We are also interested in taking similar steps to support Nintendo’s successful platform. We believe this is the right thing for the industry, for gamers and for our business.

Told you.
If titles like MLB The Show are available on XBox I have faith that Activision will continue to release cross-platform.

Yeah, I didn't realize I was debating that with you earlier, else I wouldn't have been so on the nose. It was video game licensing chat so I assumed it was tif that was wrong. The chance to tell tif he is wrong is what gets me out of bed in the morning.

I have one but I only use it for a racing simulator. How are the actual games for it?

Oh you were going after tif? Carry on. Let me know how I can help.

Ping pong was a ton of fun. My buddy said the golf game and beat saber are awesome. I was going to check out one of them next.

Neat. I bought mine used and Oculus/Facebook swapped it out for free when the HDMI connector was faulty. No complaints from me.

I assume my replacement Elite 2 is on its way, as the order no longer shows up in my MS account, and the Elite 2 serial number listed in my devices is different.

Just got a shipping notice from MS, so that appears to be the case.

on a whim, picked up Valheim with a friend. Have a blast with it so far. It's like a much more complicated minecraft.
