I now have 40 hours played in PUBG and 0 wins. ****.

Two second place finishes but that doesn't make me feel any better.
How long is each match? I'm thinking of trying this but I don't have a ton of time to play. How long does it take to start a match? Is it like GT:S where you go to the lobby and the next event is in an hour?

You load the lobby and there's a 60 second countdown before you're loaded into the plane. Then you have a few seconds before you're able to jump. Playtime wise, it'll take around 30 minutes to get to the final few circles.

Thanks, this is the first non-racing game in a while that has me thinking of purchasing it.

Similarly, there is still no release date for Ace Combat 7. I thought that was odd until I read it is trying to launch with PS4 VR support. Blah.

Just remember that it's pre-release so don't expect a polished game.

The 5 minutes of GT:S I played in VR had me almost throwing up in the office. I can't image the fun times in store with a three-dimensional flying game.

I was pretty sure that PUBG on PC is at v1.0. @dodint if you want a good shooter play Fortnite.

It took a year for PC to go from beta to v1. I'd imagine Xbox will take about the same time. Though the pre-release is $30 and final release will likely be $60.

Also, I couldn't get into Fortnite at all.

Was discussing this on another forum before. I think the limitation with VR in flying sims is the brain trying to reconcile seeing the control surfaces with your eyes and manipulating different control surfaces with your hands. The only other way to do it is *click* on everything using the on screen display, which takes you right out of the immersion. Probably less of an issue with PS4 though since the control set is so small.

But yeah, VR Ace Combat would be something else.

But this guy on mute and see what I mean here:

I played the VR for Battlefront about a year ago and the 3-D flying in outer space wasn't too bad.

Holy hell, I clicked that and didn't mute the volume. Got like ten seconds in and my ears died. Send help.

That flying game made me remember Red Baron for the PC that I used to play when I was like 6-8 years old.
