it should be noted that 500 atoms is worth about $5 in real world money. On top of that 500 atoms isn't even enough to get most of the atoms in the market, which means they are probably trying to milk more microtransactions out of people that are tempted to just buy a few hundred more to get them over the edge.

RDR2 is good, imo.

Started RDR2 yesterday afternoon. Spent probably an hour going into the valley, mugging people and chucking their bodies into the river. Apparently letting the bodies there for others to discover is not a good thing.

Guess I should probably start looking for food for the camp since that is the original intent of the mission.

I stayed on task until we got out of the snow. Once we setup camp in Chapter 2 I wandered off for a long time doing a ton of side missions. I just got to Chapter 3 over the weekend.

I think that's where I am right now. I wanted to try dragging the Duffy kid behind me back to camp, but it wouldn't give me a path until I hogtied and stowed him.

Setting him on fire in front of the camp is also the wrong thing to do.

I got the kids a Switch for Christmas. I wanted to have it plugged in ready to go for them Christmas morning. I'm guessing there are some updates upon first hooking it up? Also, if I have physical games, will those need preloaded to or can you just pop them in and play? Lastly, we'll be traveling Christmas day, so I'd imagine they'll be playing it in the car, do I need to get a car charger for this thing and will you be able to use a pro controller in the car for 1 while the other 2 use the joycons?

When you plug in you'll have to do updates, so I'd do it that evening after the kids go to bed. It doesn't take too long, but still needs done if you want to have it ready to go.

As for the physical games, you can just pop them in and out as you want to play.

The switch typically has around 4 hours of life unplugged, so it depends where you are going.

Thanks, after doing some reading, it looks like I'll be able to use my current USB C car cable setup to charge this as well. Does the pro controller work with this thing while it's mobile and not docked? I really like the Wii U pro controller and feel like I should get on for this too, but dang, that price.

I never tried playing with the pro controller when not docked, but I honestly haven't used it much mobile either so far.

Fortnite season 7 dropped today. They changed the lower left hand side of the island to a winter theme and killed multiple places I used to drop. They also added planes, zip lines, and gun skins.
