Witcher 3 just isn't doing it for me. I beat the first dude of the wild hunt and it's just... meh. Not my cup of tea.

Moving this here for entirely understandable reasons.....
Basically, it's The Last Of Us without the pretty mushroom graphics.
If this thing turns people into Bloaters I'm **** out.
I just began my second ever playthrough of TLOU two days ago, and I'm playing on Survivor difficulty. Just got to Bill's Town, and I'm about to go into that first encounter with a Bloater at the school; my inventory, in its entirety, consists of 3 rounds for my revolver.

Did you know that the difficulties above Hard in TLOU disable Joel's 'sonar' vision? I can tell you, I did not know this vital fact 48 hours ago. Boy howdy.

Haha, it was actually way easier than I thought it'd be. I didn't know this, but if you just continually scamper about Runners will respawn in ones and twos; just kill them in melee and they'll drop ammo.

Such a great game. That first bloater scared the poop out of me.

Got my Xbox One back from MS’s repair shop today. It has the same serial #, so I assume they really did just replace a part inside. They apparently also wiped the entire drive, which I’m not terribly thrilled about, but whatever. Turnaround was acceptable.

One of the neat perks about the PlayStation employee discounts was that the consoles that were offered to us as used/repaired were the ones that had the absolute minimal amount of repair work done to them. Like, a wiring loom had disconnected from the board; you could call the shop after you got your console and ask what work was done to the unit, and on my first 4 Slim the issue was a loose port. Boom, on to the employee store as a $129 'refurb'. I'm happy with that.

While the console now works properly - which is all that matters - the lack of detail provided to me is annoying. My case online doesn't show what was done, etc. I'd just like to know what steps were taken.

The only change I see is in my MS account, where I have two Xbox One X's with the same serial #.

Years ago, we had a Wii that **** the bed. Sent it to Nintendo's repair facility in Atlanta after a back and forth with tech support. It came back a week later, with no documentation or anything in the box. So I guess that's pretty common in the console industry.

I had to send mine in because the disk drive stopped working half the time.

A week later I got an email stating that I had installed the homebrew channel, so it could never work again. They refunded my money and sent it back... But they fixed the disk drive so pretty sure I won that one.

If I could arrange for one of these for end of life care I would die happy. And, likely, while ignoring a loved one.

My 360 had the RROD. I'm on my second Xbox One. My N64 has never had one single problem in 24 years. My Genesis has been kicking for 29 years. My mom sold my NES but I'm willing to bet whatever lucky bastard bought that for $5 at a garage sale is still playing it.

Source of the post My Genesis has been kicking for 29 years.
My Genesis is somewhere in my parents' house, along with my entire collection of games. My mom is apparently cleaning out the garage and basement this year, so I might actually get it back.

The coax plugin on my Genesis fell off/is falling off. Not sure how to keep it there without potentially damaging it.

You could use the RCA connection instead.

If anything, attempting to play The Division 2 on Xbox One just confirms that I’m absolute trash when it comes to games like this with a controller. Just awful.
