I ended up picking up RDR2. Gonna take the risk.

Also picked up NFS: Payback for $11. So far it's a suffecient step up from Rivals to make the $11 worth it.

Xbox is running their digital Black Friday sale. I’m on a fighting game binge and bought Mortal Kombat X with the XL pack that includes all the extra players(Jason Vorhees, Predator, Leatherface etc...) for ~$13 and MvC Infinite Deluxe for ~$23.
It looks like they both use the Unreal engine....they are both pretty fun to play.

I have played a bunch of MK X, awesome game. Might have to look into MvC, used to love playing that at the arcade.

Wait is that real? I understand the central hub design has been a staple of theme park design since DisneyLand, but even the individual lands are Disney rip offs. Donkey Kong Country = Adventureland, Wario's Gold Mine = Big Thunder Railroad/Frontierland, Smashbros Coliseum + Speedway = Space Mountain/Tomorrowland Speedway of Tomorrowland, Luigi's Mansion = Haunted Mansion, Mii Plaza = Main Street USA, Mushroom Kingdom = Cinderella's (or Sleeping Beauty's) Castle, Yoshi's Island = Tom Sawyer's Island, and the Pokemon area = Fantasy Land. They even threw the Tree of Life in there. On top of all of those similarities, the Nintendo lands are even in the same location as the Disneyworld lands that they ripped off. I smell lawsuit.

Just bring a couple turtles to a go-cart track.

I went here in May! It was a blast. The course was fun, the downhill was pretty wild. We started in the back (I had my daughter with me) and we passed the entire field. I never realized how wimpy people get when they drive Go-Karts. Had to bump and run a few people too... That was fun.

Any issues with ordering a Nintendo switch online and having them deliver? I don't think I've ever bought a new console that wasn't in person for pickup

Assuming you can be there when it's delivered nope. I've got my last 3 consoles via Amazon, including the Switch. :thumb:

I'm not sure of your neighborhood, but this month we're having all of our Amazon etc shipped to work. We've had neighbors get stuff stolen off their porches already.

I've never had anything stolen, but any time I've ordered anything of value, I've had it either shipped to work or arranged to wfh that day to be safe.

Battlefield V is pretty great, even with all of the early release bugs and weirdness. It might be the best BF game since BF2 or late stage BF4.

I played the Beta of BFV and enjoyed it, but according to people on the internet, I wasn't supposed to like it. :?

Yeah, lots of toxicity with this games' marketing because of women being in the game, not enough Nazi paraphernalia, weird cosmetic items, and so on. Most of that has been fixed or deemphasized, but the complaints are there from people who've never played the game.

It's really good, very tight gun play, no grenade spam, and a heavy emphasis on team work. The single player is garbage, as always, so I don't even bother with it.

The good news...my wife got me a PS4 for Christmas. :) The bad news...she won't let me open it til Christmas. More good news...I picked up Witcher 3 complete edition for $20. :P More bad news...I have to wait til Christmas to play it. :|

Truly a first-world problem, I know, but a problem nonetheless. :face:

Fiancé and I picked up Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and have been playing through the first game. It's super fun but I don't remember it being so damn challenging. I also had no idea my fiancé was a controller thrower.
