Re Castlevania.....
During my last two years at Konami, we discovered that someone at the Mothership licensed the animation rights to CV in perpetuity for an amount most average people could cover with a credit card. This struck us as...... unfortunate. The license dated back to the mid 00s, and was to an entity whose business address was a house in Burbank. And I see that one of the Netflix show's producers is the named CEO and Secretary of that entity.
Long story, but it caused a lot of headaches that didn't have to happen. And Konami is not getting paid very well for this exploitation.

The only thing I know about the Castlevania is that Netflix tweeted out that the series is "R-rated as f***"

Yeah, I just finished it this weekend. Definitely just a prologue pulling the gang together before they go off on their fight. I really enjoyed it. Can't wait until season 2. Supposed to be 8 episodes.season 1 was a dicktease. great prologue to the story.I watched the first episode of Castlevania last night. I think they did a good job.

I took a little time off due to kids and time after the 2nd shrine. I think I'm up to 75 shrines and have to do the desert one next. I absolutely still love picking an area and trying to go over every inch of it to see what I can find. I put in a lot of work before starting the shrines on $, armour, building my town, house, etc, so I already had the ancient armour and master sword which makes the shrines way too easy (at least the bosses). In a way, I'm milking it out because I don't want it to end. I'll be saving korok seeds for last. I have yet to go up against the big lynels too.how are you liking it? im on the mission to collect all of the korok seeds now. its a blast.3rd divine beast down.

Until Dawn is free this month for PS4 owners. Started it last night, really looking forward to the game and how it changes based on your decisions.

I noticed the Game of Thrones Telltale game (and six chapters) are also free this month. Is it good?

never played it, but if it's anything like The Walking Dead series, it wasn't bad.

I don't know the answer to this question, but I'd like to take this opportunity to mention how much I hate Telltale games.I noticed the Game of Thrones Telltale game (and six chapters) are also free this month. Is it good?
Honestly, just watch Game of Thrones and every now and then hit the A button on your controller. Not only will you recreate the experience of playing the game, but it'll also be much more exciting.

I won't say much because of spoilers, but after I finished the game, I was triggered. In fact, I was triggered for most of the game. You get **** on for the entire game, and there's no satisfying conclusion. They are making a season 2, but it's too late in my book.I noticed the Game of Thrones Telltale game (and six chapters) are also free this month. Is it good?
There's also the typical my-choices-don't-really-matter that every Telltale game has.
Interacting with character from the show was pretty cool. It made most of them more intimidating, considering the characters you play are from a lesser house and aren't game changers like some other houses.

I received an Atari flashback plug & play system for Christmas one year. It was fun for about an hour. Hopefully this thing is more than just an emulator machine because the 2600 games do not hold up very well.

I've recently been playing Endless Sky, which is a single-player, top-down, 2D space trading and combat video game. It offers fairly typical gameplay for a space sim of this type. You start out with a basic crappy ship, and you can haul cargo, carry passengers, or work as a bounty hunter with the goal of getting more money to upgrade your ship, buy new ships, etc. There are a couple storylines in there, but the game is mostly a sandbox. It's intended to be a spiritual sequel to the 1990s game Escape Velocity. The game is open-source and is free to play. It can be downloaded for free through Steam or from the link above. I've been playing on my Linux workstation, which more than five years old and was never intended to be a gaming machine in the first place, and it runs pretty well, so Endless Sky should play well on just about any fairly recent computer. If anyone here likes these sort of "space trading" games, give Endless Sky a look.

My then five year old got up one morning (at 5:30) and logged himself onto Battlefield 3, managed to get on a populated multiplayer server, and got my userid banned for teamkilling. I still don't know how he managed to do all of that.
