Anyone still looking for an XSX? You can get it direct from MS right now, and it sounds like they ship fast.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/d/xbox- ... verviewtab

Ckick on 'Build a bundle', and you only need to add the console to checkout.

What little I played of TMTN shredders revenge before the power went out... it was really really good. The opening is like nostalgia trip to the old TMNT cartoon.

Banjo-Kazooie re-playthrough complete. Apparently I missed one jiggy somewhere in Grunty's lair, probably due to a death and not saving. W/e, I'm not going back for it, that camera is an absolute mess. Did not hold up that well.

Got through level 10 with 5 of us for father's day yesterday. It was awesome playing on the newer wifi SNES controller. Brought back a lot of memories of turtles in times.

As children, we'd make our parents watch us beat a video game level. As parents, we make our children watch. I'm good with this.

I don't have kids but when my nephews were young they'd challenge me to whatever game they were playing at the time whether it was 2K or WWE or Rocket League and I would never let them win. I'd just wipe the **** floor with them. Sorry, kid, you have to earn that. Now they'd crush me. This is the way.

I do the same with my nephews and my daughters. If they challenge me in a game, I go all out and don't let them win. Now my daugther and I are about 70/30 in Mario Kart because of it (I'm still winning, but she pulls it out every so often). But she kicks her friends asses.

Wife and I finished TMTN Shredders revenge last night. 16 levels in all. Still some secrets and other endings to get so lots replay value. Unlocked Casey Jones after finishing the story the first time.

Would love to play with 6 people at a time that would be a blast. Overall it's a really really fun game and a great nostalgic throwback.

I need to pick up tmnt still. Was supposed to get a 4 way going on Friday but the person that actually owned the game wasn't feeling good so that died (the game, not the person).

Well I was going to play Fall Guys on my break but Epix servers are down due to high volume. Pffft.

Bananas. I was planning on waiting until the first life cycle price drop to pick up a 5, but at the rate they're going that won't happen until like year 7.

So far I haven't found a game that is terribly different game play wise between the two generations that is forcing me to upgrade my XBox. Until they start dropping support or features from it I'll stick with what I got.

One of the benefits of the crypto crash seems to be a decline in video-card demand/prices. With the fall in value for stuff like Bitcoin and Ethereum, coupled with higher energy prices, the cost to mine a new coin is in many cases higher than the cost of the electricity that one will consume in the mining, so it's not worth it.

Jumped back into Halo after not playing for over two weeks, and holy **** does it take a while to get back into a rhythm.

Same thing happens to me when I load up Renegade after a long break. Takes me a few games to shake the rust off.

Beat Skyward Sword a few weeks ago, and started Ocarina of Time. Playing that for the first time in 22 years.
