My brother owned a Neon R/T for many years, and I drove it on occasion. Nowhere near as special as the SRT-4, but I remember that thing had great handling for being based on an economy car.

The U-Pull-It yard in Penn Hills has one or two R/Ts. I care because it got a tighter steering rack than any other Neon so I may look into transplanting one into mine. It has the turning radius of a cargo ship.

Congrats on the find! You’ve got three months get the seat molded to your butt before CMP

Yeah. The cool thing is I'm running it in Sport class so there isn't much to do. It shouldn't take too much time/money away from the BMW project. I was thinking about trying to put that giant RaceTech seat into it but it's a side mount seat and everything for the Neon is bottom mount. Plus that seat is designed to be cage mounted.

So I'm watching the Formula E race in Mexico City..... not sure what they could do to make the cars more ridiculous, but the racing is actually entertaining.

Newest NASCAR track?

Another Bible Bet short track?

Nope, Zandvoort. Home of the 2020 Dutch GP.

I kind of like the idea, just not the location. But anything is better than another Tilke design so lets just see what happens I guess.

The funny thing is they added a **** ton of runoff and killed the character of the track, then as a cherry on top they dropped an oval banking on it.

What's weird to me is that Zandvoort was always known as that track that had the banked first turn, Tarzan.

They're adopting the philosophy that went into the China circuit in adding a banked corner leading onto the longest straight; but in Shanghai, the corner fed into a straight that is 7 miles long, and it still didn't really help. They seem to be ignoring the fact that the cars are still so aero-critical, that preceding that banked corner with 13 medium-speed bends that require 100 meters of separation isn't going to make that final banked corner of any use.

Formula One Will Cancel A Race If Any Team Is Banned From Travelling
https://jalopnik.com/formula-one-will-c ... 1842068520

The new Vietnam race is in jeopardy thanks to COVID-19 spreading in Italy. Vietnam (among other countries) has placed a 14-day medical quarantine on anyone coming from China, South Korea, Italy, and Iran. That would obviously throw a wrench into the ability for Ferrari and AlphaTauri's team members to get into country, and tire supplier Pirelli is also based in Italy.

Having been to Hanoi, I'm skeptical of the reliability of anything in that city that requires electricity.

Apparently cargo is part of the European travel ban, so moving equipment around is going to be incredibly tough.

McLaren just dropped out of Australia. Might need to rework those fantasy teams.

Just saw that too.
Part of me would be surprised if the race goes on despite all the equipment already being there.

Kinda surprised they even allowed the teams to show up in the first place. 320,000 people qualifies as a 'big crowd' imo.

Dutch and Spanish GPs postponed; Monaco - which was not on the calendar until the end of May - canceled outright. (Apparently Prince Albert, who is a big F1 fan, is COVID+)
