Alfa Romeo (Raikkonen) is in the McLaren/Racing Point tier of cars/teams, maybe lower.
I'd say the list goes
Mercedes
Ferrari
Red Bull
McLaren
Racing Point
Renault
Alfa Romeo
Alpha Tauri
Haas
Williams
Though Ferrari this year isn't doing all that great.

Yeah. I'd swap Racing Point and Ferrari, there.

I'll admit I was taking historical performance and general $$$ into account as well.
Motorsports (non-NASCAR)
Yeah, for sure. They're just in a very poor position for 2020/2021 after getting caught with the fuel injector...cheat...last year.
I promoted Racing Point on account of them running last years Mercedes car.

So apparently Lewis has rejoined the field after his bad stop and they were nearly around after a full lap behind the safety car when they got a note on the pitwall from someone at Brackley saying, in effect, "Uh, guys...... you know the pitlane was closed, right? I'm guessing Lewis has a problem we're not seeing on our telemetry.....cos...... otherwise, that's a dumb."

Jimmie Johnson to IndyCar for Chip Ganassi's team doing road and street course races...

Inject this right into my veins.
I have been holding my nose rooting for Vettel-Ferrari for too long now. I'll be free to go back to hating those d-bags.

Sky Sports described the signing as "prolonging" Vettel's career. Which is pretty much how I feel about it.
Also, I am super stoked to see F1 cars pedaling around Mugello.

I've heard him described as 'New Kimi' despite old Kimi still being here.
I think AMR will be competitive next year on account of the freeze, and then they'll disappear under the new regulations and that will be it for Seb. But he's getting, I believe, $15m a year to race an F1 car so there are worse things in life.

Mugello appears to be satisfyingly bonkers.

They're set for a solid driver lineup for the foreseeable future. Sadly, that foreseeable future also includes a lot of lines like that.
Motorsports (non-NASCAR)
The special paint job is kind of neat. Doesn't make the cars any faster, though.
Motorsports (non-NASCAR)
I'd rather they stuck with that crimson color going forward. If they are going the speed of a 1950s F1 car they may as well look as much like one as they can.
Also, Bottas can choke on a bag of d**ks.

Yup on Bottas.

A lot to unpack on the Tuscan GP. But just want to take this opportunity to welcome Gasly back to earth, with his Q3 qualifying and DNF. Last place, IIRC.
Motorsports (non-NASCAR)
That said, I hope Mugello becomes a permanent fixture. Awesome spectacle.
Motorsports (non-NASCAR)
Honestly, I'm really surprised at how much slack Bottas has been given. Sure, the SC lights were late to go out, but that doesn't excuse the erratic driving on the straight between the SC1 line and the timing line. Once you get 4 or 5 cars back the drivers have no visibility as to what's happening at the front, and the hard accelerating and braking just compounds the possibility of chaos at the back.
Motorsports (non-NASCAR)
He didn't brake, or decelerate at all, even while swerving. Bottas did nothing wrong.

I shall have to re-watch, because my initial memory was that Bottas did a couple squirt-brakes and was 'warming his tires' after crossing the SC1 line, which I thought was a no-no.
Motorsports (non-NASCAR)
I watched a video where someone isolated the audio and showed that his motor didn't change pitch at all until his final acceleration. Which I think is pretty skillful given the weaving.
Russell tried to do the Days of Thunder slingshot the field but guessed wrong and had to brake, which caused someone to check up, the car behind that car dove out of the way, and then Gio went right up into the ass of Timo. (Not Timo).

Back to 18 spots available, and the only car I have that runs right now is an Expedition...Did she get a new job yet? Eight spots left before the waitlist kicks in.
Which is pretty awesome, really. Last year we peaked at 191 registrations. This year they're going to reach the 250 cap.
(Seriously, though. Hope she's doing well.)

Wow, really? It was 245/500 yesterday.
If you are serious I might be able to hook you up with a co-drive in a FiST, FoSt, or GTI.
I am not putting the M6 out there for co-drives on its maiden event, though.

Lol, I wouldn't have accepted. I've already sent a tree up the ass end of an M3 before, I don't think I need to step up.
