I've wanted a TAG Monaco since I was like 10 or 11 years old. I'm actually willing to buy a knock-off, but even those are over $500.

I have a knock-off Tag from Afghanistan. Looks great but it doesn't work.

I was going to buy myself one as a law school grad present, but I went real racing instead. Now I have $40k into a car that doesn't have a steering column.

I actually slipped caravan into a conversation in that context the other day without knowing I was doing it. The part of my brain not doing the talking did a double take but didn't interject.

Iirc you picked up the colloquial speak from your time in Afghanistan? I call them 'Top Gear words'.

I've lived in NC, Boston, Pittsburgh, Iraq, Afghanistan, was in the Marines, and have a Hispanic parent. I'm linguistically braindead.

If I'm buying a TAG, I'm either getting a Monaco or a classic Carerra Date. Although I plan to eventually check off the "chronograph" box for my watch collection with a Longines Avigation A-7:

Imola canceled due to heavy rains and flooding in the area.

There's a river that defines the northern and eastern boundaries of the circuit. (Which is why Tamburello had to be reprofiled into a chicane-ish thing instead of expanding the runoff; they physically can't expand the grounds) I don't remember this happening here before, but it sounds like it was the right call this time.

I saw NASCAR in the title but the “non” didn’t register. I apologize

It's back...and undefeated:

This is the car we blew up in 2019. Still a lot to do but it's getting logbooked in June. Lots of happy/relieved feelings yesterday.

I didn't notice it while driving but that inline six piping to that exhaust sounds great, and I have the optional resonator installed.

I saw a video of an LMP3 car drafting it down the straight because of the ridiculous sized hole it punches.

I'm just worried how bad it'll drive when the seventy dive planes get knocked off it in the first three hours.

I wonder when was the last time a NASCAR vehicle actually had anything close to functional headlights.

Good on-track action from P2 down, but holy god...... the penalty canon. lol

Did Hulk actually get a track limits penalty after he retired?
