Kendrick Lamar is pretty good, though. He raps a lot more about the Black experience, not just about drugs, guns, and sex. A lot better than most of the hip hop my kids listen to - Lil' this, Lil' that.

I like Kendrick Lamar. We've talked about this, but 90% of my cardio/running Spotify playlist is hip-hop/rap. A lot of Eminem, Dre, Biggie, Jay-Z, DMX, and even some early Pitbull/Flo Rida stuff. I'm just not a fan of most rap nowadays...too much mumble rap stuff.

Our daughter's friend (who is two grades ahead of her) said something about Cardi B when she slept over last night. I quickly changed the subject to something else

My lasting memory of that song is actually related to all of the P2P sharing services in the early 2000s. I remember that song was credited to at least three different artists, most notably Johnny Horton.
