Well, technically I use Apple Music which is streaming. I do have a bunch of uploaded music on that though.

My new car...doesn't have a CD player in it.

In fact, I have to use our PS3/PS4 for the few CDs my wife didn't make me get rid of a few years ago. Still pissed about that.
The $9.99/month I pay for Spotify Premium might be the best money I've ever spent. I get hours and hours of enjoyment out of it.

Boston was my parents favorite band to see live. They used to bring in a full sized pipe organ instead of a keyboard which is surprising given Stolz's penchant for technology.

This was also my son's favorite song when he was little. Every time I'd put it on he'd dance around saying "favorite song! favorite song!"

It needs to be played LOUD

I don't think there is a better air band album then this. When my buddies from HS get together we sit in the basement and airband to the entire album. My daughter asked if I could get the band together for an air session for her friends for her birthday party.

That is the most overplayed song in my life.

Anyone else into Clutch? I've been listening to some more of their stuff. Pretty solid.

From my hometown. Jammed with them some back in 2004 through a mutual friend. All good dudes.

Nice! Didn't even think about the Germantown connection.

Saw them years ago in Virginia in a place that held like 300 people. Placed always felt bigger but this article says it only held 300.

Was surprised years later that I saw they were getting a huge following.

I had to do some digging to find the show, but I think the date is wrong. I was stationed in the Norfolk area until Feb '94, but they didn't play there until later in the year.

Edit: I was right. I did see them in 1993, but I don't remember them being an opening act.
Nsect Club: Bands

Note to self: add Clutch to concert list thread if it's not already listed.

Went back to look at the place that I saw Clutch and it's long gone. As mentioned in the article, the club was closed with zero notice because one of the owners didn't think it drew enough people. If memory is correct, it ended up being converted into a sports bar for a bit.

Fast forward 20+ years and there's no sign of it. Building is gone, as is everything around it. In it's place is a NAPA and a check cashing place.

I’ve been thinking about this all weekend.

Eddie Money is classic rock.

Jethro Tull is classic rock.

Bad Company is classic rock.

Foreigner is classic rock.

Iron Butterfly is classic rock.

There's just something I love about these videos of these older black artists performing. Something about that voice is just so damn enjoyable to listen to. That southern, almost Cajun accent.

I got my first kit when I was four. I've been playing drums for 30some years. And I'm jealous of a nine year old. Also she's way better than I was at 9.
