Boygenius is good stuff. Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers both have great voices.

:lol: Bright Eyes was my jam in the early 2000s. To be honest, it still is. He's another one that is trying to set the record for side projects but I'm a fan of basically anything he does.

I like it. I'd read a blurb about her in Rolling Stone where she said she hates "classic rock" but went on about how John Lennon is her favorite Beatle. :lol: You hate it, but have a favorite Beatle...ooook. :lol:

I know that makes no sense, but for some reason I thought they were related. :lol:

"Classic rock", to me, is bland (mostly) 70s crap like Boston, Chicago, Deep Purple, et al, defined by, and I quote here because I coulnd't have put it better myself, an "ideologoy celebrating a male homosocial paradigm of musicianship" that I find utterly detestable. The Beatles were nothing like that.

I like Boston and Deep Purple more than the Beatles. I understand the historical significance of the Beatles but musically they do nothing for me. Boring.
