I'm on Team Gilmour. I love Floyd but Waters is and always has been a prick.

That's pretty sharp, I have a similar one that he wrote "Eddie snake, rock n roll, Eddie money". It's one of my prized possessions.

I've been listening Jerry Garcia Bands Electric on the Eel 6 disc set lately and it's a lot of fun
This is excellent.
Two more you should check out if you haven't heard:

Jerry Garcia Let it Rock

Maceo Parker life on planet groove

I literally dance with the lawnmower while listening to those.

Yeah, I wasn't really a fan of The Idler Wheel, but this new album kicks pretty damn hard.

Idler is my favorite album of hers. Tidal my least. But it's all good. A remarkable woman saying important stuff imo on top of writing completely unique melodies :fist:

OK I finally got around to starting to listen to this. It's great stuff. Under the Table and the first track are fantastic. Haven't had a chance to listen to anything past the first 5 but I'm impressed so far.

I just now realized/remembered there was a Jon Brion version of Extraordinary Machine floating around out there. Bonus album! Production-wise it feels like a much more logical bridge between Pawn and Idler.

i'm new to fiona but have managed to hear the brion version(s) as well as the rap producer and i like them both
the connection fiona makes between ella fitzgerald and the beatles is unlike anything i've ever heard

I was gonna ask if syncing bands over different music was a new meme, but that tweet looks like it's a year and a half old.

This one showed up a few times on my FB over the weekend.
