One of my kids constantly (well these days anyway) has TikTok going in the background. And one of the more popular meme templates (?) uses a sampled Desmond riff from a hip hop song. So all of a sudden, I’ll hear Dave Brubeck Quartet come out of my 11 year old’s phone and I get excited...then it’s just a stupid meme. Cutch used it in one of his recent Larry McCutchen videos:Closing the door on the lame ass may the 4th be with you crap....
