Yeah, they are great. S.O.B. (from his previous album) always comes up in a playlist, when my kids are in the car. They of course love the refrain.
I downloaded both of there last 2 albums and almost every song is great.

I saw them at the Outlaw Music Festival at Saratoga. They came on before Neil Young. They were really, really entertaining. My father in law enjoyed them immensely.
re night sweats

You youngsters have obviously never heard of the Bar-Kays and Los Lobos

I'm so old to where a lot of stuff sounds derivative and uninteresting -though the Night Sweats did hit it out of the park with You Worry Me song-and even that buzz lasted for only a few listens. That SOB tune of theirs I've heard that a hundred times starting with Status Quo on through the Fabulous Thunderbirds. I'm not suggesting it sucks just that I was always destined to be a crotchety old bastard. FWIW the best new music I've heard is Jonelle. She can write a hook. And even her ****, I've heard before. Tightrope = about 30 JB tunes

This started with me what? 12-15 yrs ago- my daughter says 'you have to hear this, dad!' It was Waiting For the World To Change
which to my mind is nothing but People Get Ready.

sucks getting old

Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham underwent emergency open heart surgery last week and is now recuperating at his home. “Each day he is stronger than the last,” his wife Kristen Buckingham wrote in a statement. “While he and his heart are doing well, the surgery resulted in vocal cord damage. While it is unclear if the damage is permanent, we are hopeful it is not.”

They are all getting old, man. He’s one of the younger musicians of that era, too.

We saw Fleetwood Mac four or five years ago, and I honestly wasn't sure the last song of the set would have the whole band on stage.

That said, it was an amazing show. Got to see Stevie Nicks sing 'Gold Dust Woman' on stage at the Forum twice in just a few months. (She was special guest of the Foos and that's what they played) Seeing them live gave me a whole new appreciation for the musicianship of all of them, but of Lindsey in particular.

Yup. I always use 70 as a reference point for that era. It's why I'm always pleasantly surprised when guys like Geddy Lee and Angus Young are still in their early 60s.

That's a cool performance, but good lord I hate that indie baby voice.

This song is perfection. Just the quintessential country song.

I got stuck in a wikihole last year and learned that his older brother Greg, who won a silver medal in the 200 meter individual medley at the 68 Summer Olympics, tied from a heart attack at the age of 45.

He's the GOAT member of Fleetwood Mac as far as I'm concerned.
