Holy sht. I forgot how much I utterly hate online presales for concert tickets. Fcking resellers ruin it for everybody. It's a small miracle that I was able to get even two tickets, because the concert was sold out within about 15 seconds of it going on sale. Fourth row in 215 for the concert, not too shabby for center stage.

We have two pairs of tickets...one for Section 215 (which is a shtty section judging by the angle), and one pair for 224, Row E, which seems to be much more facing the stage. Thinking we will keep the 224 ones and sell the other pair. It's annoying because a bunch of tickets suddenly came available like 5-10 minutes after because people backed out of their selections.

Does anyone have any concert experience there? It's hard to tell with a center stage setup but I feel like that's the right call.

I HATE BOTS

Foo Fighters had a 'Beat The Bots' in-person only presale for their show at the Forum in 2011 or whatever it was. I drove there, and there were 3,000 people in line half an hour before the sale opened. These were not just Foo fans.

I have repeatedly attempted to log in with the criteria "2 tix, best avail", and by the time I get through there's nothing left. Sale opens at 10 am PST, by 10:02 I can't get two seats next to each other. Or I have to buy four or six tickets together to get the two I want. **** THESE PEOPLE IN THE EAR HOLE.

Yeah, it's annoying. Looking at the seats in 224 I got...they are going for $500+ on Stubhub already. I think I was extremely lucky to sneak back in and grab two there, because that seems to be one of the most expensive sections.

Just remembered, the last time I bought Foo tix for an LA show, they showed up on StubHubb before I was able to actually connect to Ticketmaster.

I splurged and got one of the packages that get some extra goodies so I could get tickets. Section 114 at PPG Row J. 450ish dollars later for two tickets, but oh well.

WTF?! I just went back into Ticketmaster just to do a search for tickets, and almost the entire arena is available. I literally can pick wherever I want all throughout the upper bowl, at face value. Where the **** were all these tickets over an hour ago?

I'm just glad to have gotten tickets. There are no other bands I would consider dropping 450$ on for two tickets.

I am fcking livid right now. There are suddenly a TON of tickets available, but because I already bought the maximum amount, I cannot get them. So I am stuck with two shtty nosebleed tickets in a shtty section that I cannot get rid of, all because it said the other tickets weren't available when they actually were. What a fcking load of horsesht.

The online ticket process sucks no doubt. It's a **** setup an **** experience. I had gone through the met club so they didn't use ticketmaster but some other site, still was a **** way of trying to get tickets.

This is why I love buying for Phish. Their "pre-sale" is a lottery. You enter your info, What kind if tickets you want (Floor, GA, lawn, best available, whatever), how many (up to 4), and your payment. They put a hold on your card until the lottery is drawn. You get notified that you received your tickets, and that's that. They also do general public sales but I've never had to turn to that because I've been lucky for the lottery.

My wife and I are going to his smaller audience show in a couple of weeks. Basically a massively scaled-down production, with mostly his original non-parody songs, stories, etc. I am really excited for this.

DJ Premier and Pete Rock join forces to produce De LA Soul's new album

If this were 1991, I'd need to change my pants now.
