Unlike others, Miley isn't lip syncing.

I don’t really pay attention to Taylor swift, but is she like completely stuck on herself? The first thing she says is it’s her 13th Grammy, then about how it speaks to how much fans love her, then she’s gonna go post the cover if her next album right now. Weird.

I was really confused because I watched her speech for album of the year after seeing this post and was like, “huh?!?!” Because that was a good speech…. Then I saw the best pop album speech, and yeah. Not great.

The 13th award thing gets a pass from me, she’s just saying that’s her lucky number, cool… but announcing your album and leaving? Weird. Not a good look there.

What's the difference between Album of the Year and Record of the Year. Or Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

One of them seem redundant.

Hmmm… just looked it up. Album of the year is like it sounds. It’s an award for a full album.

Record vs Song of the year is who the award is for. Record is for the performer, producer, the recording engineers, etc. The whole shebang.

Song of the year is only for the person who wrote the melodies and/or lyrics to the song.

Damn you Taylor for not releasing this album for another two months while my daughter talks about it incessantly.

And it might be the worst named mainstream album since Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie.

Also, this is a very bad look:

Even the hardcore Swifties on r/taylorswift are criticizing her for it.

Afaik, all Sweeny does is aggregate publicly available info. If anyone wants to make the "no legitimate interest in or public need for this information", they need to direct their redress towards the folks that make the information public in the first case (e.g. the FAA).

Jason Isbell filed for divorce from Amanda Shires.

Sucks to see it happen, but I'll be interested to see how it impacts Isbell's music.

Yeah, that bummed me out for some reason. She was a big factor in him getting sober. I knew something was up when she hadn't been with him for a couple of big events (movie premiere and the Grammys).

I keep hearing about this guy. Nugs has a bunch of his shows from 2016-2020. What's a good place to start with him?

Anything older his last album honestly.

He was in drive by truckers but like Childers, he was a supreme alcoholic and wrote major hits in the Americana side.

“Cover me up” is one of my favorite songs and he wrote it about getting clean and his future ex wife. It’s just a classic, imo.
