It's hard to imagine Anthony Kiedis as a 60-something

She is very talented--I like that she doesn't do the annoying "indie voice" too.

I saw Rilo Kiley back in 2003 and have been of hers ever since. She's had some stinkers (I'm look at you, Jenny & Johnny), but for the most part she's been remarkably consistent.

that entire episode of SNL was pretty good. His broadway show (playing talking heads songs) is coming back in September. My daughter is a big fan and I'm afraid this may be the only opportunity to see him live so I'm going to try and get tickets for that, but I really wish he would tour again.

I saw that video was trending on Twitter Sunday morning. People born after 1990 or so were very confused about what he was doing. Obviously, they've never watched MTV back in the day.

I know David Byrne and The Talking Heads and have seen Stop Making Sense. I still get confused about what he's doing. But that doesn't mean he's not awesome.

Genesis (well, Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford, and Tony Banks) spotted at a Knicks game last night. Reunion incoming?
UK tour confirmed for November. Hopefully, if it goes well, they'll come over here. Nic Collins on drums fwiw.

Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson rocked the Pete last night. What a great show. It was obvious many were there to see Childers only - the arena was probably 40% full by the time Sturgill finished up at 11:15. It was a Wednesday too.

I dig Sturgill's new stuff. I think he alienated a lot of his country fans with Sound & Fury but I love all of his stuff.

The acoustics in the Pete absolutely suck but it was a great show.

yeah, my bro said probably too big of a venue for Tyler and Sturgill was really loud. Phish show in December sounded awesome in there

I too enjoy all of his stuff

Once it ended my ears were definitely ringing. We were in one of the Loge boxes. Great seats.

I'm a big fan of Sturgill, like his variety of sound on all three albums. Is Childers bigger than Simpson though? More chart success?

I have no opinion of Harry Styles, but this is great. Sounds just like Peter Gabriel, too. (But why is he wearing my grandmother's clothes from 1970?)

Them Crooked Vultures. I liked the album, hard to believe that was 10+ years ago.
