Keith Richards' Talk is Cheap is really good. Not sure why I've never listened to it before.

Mick Jagger to have heart valve replacement surgery: https://twitter.com/nycjim/status/1112751528874528768

My mom had this a few years ago, with a mechanical valve. Pretty big deal.

Matt Drudge breaks it...of course he does!

Mick Jagger, for all the hell he put his body through over the years, is in phenomenal physical shape. He runs like eight miles a day. I have no doubt he will recover well, and I'm excited to see he will be back on stage this summer!!

Yeah, the Rolling Stone interview about the show/remix was interesting. Diamond Dave...is something else.

Not exactly my jam (definitely my daughter’s), but if I were to tell you all the Jonas Brothers did their first public concert in years, what would you think, New York? LA? Nope. State College, PA, Champs bar to be precise.

Awesome for the students, the area, and Coach Franklin was present as well. As was probably the closest woman to a goddess in this day and age, Sophie Turner.

Country music was already on life support, but seeing that absolutely awful rap song "Old Town Road" at the top of the Billboard chart probably marks the official death.

Tomorrow is Record Store Day, anyone doing anything fun? I might try to get to Amoeba in Hollywood to see if they got a copy of the 180g gold Young & Dangerous LP by The Struts.

ok, so this is the same place that I was thinking of. The capacity there can't be much more than 500, and that's being generous.

I'm assuming they were in the front room and the tables were gone.

Been doing this thing where I listen to a couple albums a day on YouTube while I work.

List so far:

Phish - Hoist
Phish - Billy Breathes
Phish - Junta
Phish - Lawn Boy
David Bowie - Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
Talking Heads - Remain in Light

Open to suggestions, because I'll take anything to take my head out of my work space.

Ah, I did the Bob Dylan discography a few months ago that way. Took me a few weeks. Good stuff, most of it, obviously.

Since you like Phish, you might want to give Yes a run: The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge, Tales from Topographic Oceans, Relayer. There are deluxe versions of these that are pretty good as well.

I was considering a couple Zeppelin albums. Listened to Exile on Main Street this afternoon.

Definitely going to check out Head Hunters. Love to throw Chameleon on while sitting around at home.

Thanks for the suggestions thus far. That should be able to at least take me to the end of the week.
